Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Excellent Clip. You gotta love it when by accident, the media types slip up, and real people get a moment to broadcast the actual truth.

How was that a slip-up, exactly? Why do you think 'the media types' interview real people, if not to hear their actual point of view?

That journalist would have been thrilled with that interview. It was pithy, it was passionate, it had a great soundbite along the way (Great/little Britain), and it was completely authentic.

They may not have expected it, but spontaneous reactions like that are what tv reporters crave. And it was broadcast, wasn't it? How was it a 'mess up'?

Don't you know anything about the media? I do.

What do you think about the reporters quip at the end (just before cut in some versions, cut out on others) of "Obviously a labour [supporter]"?

I found that odd. Almost pejorative.

    Has anyone seen cryptocurrency?

I invested a load of money based on his advice and I have questions about the outcomes.

They were not what he repeatedly and aggressively repeated and predicted.
    I want my money back.

If the UK dumped the north could it not impose full checks on all goods between irealdn and the UK

This Brexit craic is going to be expensive. Between a tanking economy and paying for the upkeep to northern Ireland for at least the next decade while it transitions theres some tough times ahead.

Theoretically it could but it wouldn't play well in Brussels so they'd get absolutely hammered there and then its really curtains.

    What tanking economy?

All those who predicted the economic explosion of the UK over this are going to look like proper imbeciles over the coming decade and I will be first to remind them. Anyone who says this will have no right to offer an opinion on anything as thye will just be seen as outright stupid.

    Save that.

I have started pulling people up on it already with a timely interuption of "sorry, you are too thick to engage with "

If I understand you correctly you are saying that anyone who gets a prediction wrong is an imbecile and will have no right to voice any opinions ever again?
    Can that be taken retroactively?

The dates are irrelevant and the minor hiccups on the way or barriers by remainers are also not important.

It's happening and it will be fine....for the UK.

well no. You were insistent that they would leave on Oct 31st. something that you were completely wrong about. so can we assume then that you are wrong about every else if we are to follow your logic?

days or weeks towards the correct end result on one hand then you have the remainers who are claiming with zero evidence and the UK will decline at an alarming rate while the EU is some power player...Jeysus, will you wake up.

The EU is an utter joke, as is all the Nato members outside of the US and UK. That should give you a real idea how the world works.

Not at all, I am just stating it will happen. I have watched every corner of the Irish media and social media posts go into the most pathetic stance regarding this and complete denial where some where even talking about Jo Swinson and how to get her into number 10. I have been watching to the point where I was just sitting there thinking "are these people in complete denial or are they actually stupid". They clung like desperate losers to minor details over the 31st or previous, they hero-worshipped John Bercow and celebrated the efforts of a parliament to derail a democratic vote and ignored the huge implications of doing so.

As all this went on, anyone with any brains knew this was just a side show, as is the whole WA. The UK has a destination and by hook or by crook it will get there and that is to not be subjected to the rules of the EU, esp in terms of it's economy and it's global ambitions.

Try and take a long term view and not try to look for trivial little victories as it comes across as despertate.

UK will leave and will prosper. The UK economic model needs not to be tied with over regulation and this is what the EU fears most. I understand the EU fears as the UK will make mince meat of their socialist agenda on a head to head on trade and the rest will wake up to it.
The scream from the EU is absolute hysterics and desperatation.

Boris wins a majority today then mark it down as the beginning of the end of the EU as we know it. This will lead to either big changes, huge ones or thye are toast.

The UK will thrive as this low regulation centre point in europe and will take a huge cultural shift for the EU to catch up.

UK or the handful in the previous parliment. A majority for Boris today just shows the UK itself has no fear at all...maybe people should sit up and fear that.

    We will know at 10pm.

The UK elected that handful...a handful across all parties who have blocked leaving because of 'fear'. Nothing to do with EU fear at all.

And there is no guarantee that a known liar won't find a way to permanently stall leaving with extension after extension.

It was funny to watch the BBC only last night addressing what might be achievable from these 'great deals' the UK might get outside the EU. I could literally see more Tory defections when it comes to voting this measure through.

Fear in the UK, not the EU, who have been waiting patiently for a decision one way or the other.
