Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Depends how open minded Santa is.

Last time you were in an ambulance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I have never been in the back of an ambulance. Never spent a night in hospital and only once visited casualty. Thankfully.

What one word would best describe you right now?

    Tired

Did you sleep well last night?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I slept really well last night. Because there was a storm going on I seemed to feel extra comfy in bed and was less aware of the usual creaks and groans from the house as it cools down at night.

Are you any good at sketching or drawing pictures?

Nope, matchstix men and matchstix cats and dogs.

    Are you a good photographer?

No, I have rather bad teeth.

How do you take your tea?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Only in a Saturday and with milk and no sugar.

If you were in a pub right now what would you order?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

A hot port, for the night that's in it.

    Least favourite alcohol drink?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,300 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I have 3 weeks off this year, starting Friday this week:)

When are you off for Xmas?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

    2 weeks
    Edit: Friday week
Will you attend Mass/visit a graveyard over the holidays?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Not until Friday the 20th

EDIT: Probably go to Christmas morning Mass

Do you have any allergies that you know of?

I do, I'm allergic to cats and chickens, though I can eat chicken no bother, I've never knowingly tried to eat cat, but a few dodgy oriental dishes have been eaten.

I will attend a few masses over Xmas.

Will you have a good social drink with friends and family for Xmas?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Nightshade allergy. Raw tomatoes and potatoes bring me out in red blotches. Also Codeine.

If you wear makeup, how many products do you use (e.g. mascara, eyeliner, brow pencil, concealer, foundation, highlighter, eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, translucent powder.....)

And are you loyal to one brand?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 793 ✭✭✭supermouse

I've just started wearing some. Tinted moisturiser, mascara, eyebrow pencil, blusher and eyeshadow. Sounds like a lot hey!

No brand loyalty for make up. For clothing yes.

What are your feelings towards Christmas?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Don't like Christmas tbh

Which is your favourite day? Christmas day or New year's day?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Do you know anyone who bites into a KitKat bar (rather than breaking it into fingers)?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

    What makes you laugh?

Are you a fan of big massive eyebrows?..

What is an unusual instant turn off for you when you meet someone new?

    Bad breath or bad B.O.

Do you use much fuel for your car in the space of a week?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,928 ✭✭✭Bishop of hope

    Last Christmas

What is an unusual instant turn off for you when you meet someone new?

The type of laugh they have, I can judge a forced versus a genuine laugh, I think..............

Cars fuel consumption varies, rarely the same week on week

Do you keep your hair well groomed or just finger tidy?

I delete everything, texts, emails, whatever.
If I don't need it down the line, I delete it when I'm finished with it. I don't hoard anything!

    Do you regift over Christmas?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

No. If I have the pressie already, I’ll give the extra one away.

Do you agree with Die Hard winning the Boardsie Best Christmas Movie “Award”?

It wouldn't be my favourite, so no.

Do you ever get up and say thank god that night is over?

Often, if I've had a really bad night's sleep.

What did you want to be when you were little, and is that what you're doing now?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

I wanted to be a Sports Reporter/Presenter (typing from my Junior Infant classroom)

    How about you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I did not really have any idea what I wanted to do when I grew up. My career as it is now did not exist back then. But I think if 15 year old me could have had a glimpse at Present me then he would have been happy enough.

Would you like to be ability to read people’s minds for 24 hours – to know what they really are thinking?

    Coffee thank you.

    What's in your fridge today?

Feck all, I'm just in and have to head to the shop, my wife's working so I have to look after the dinner today.

Do you hope we get a white Xmas?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    Food, obviously

One day of snow would be fine...I need visitors to be able to drive to me.

Are you open with others about the happenings in your life? Or keep some cards close to your chest?

I'm pretty reserved about my life really, I talk to people, but mainly I keep problems to myself.

Have you ever driven a lorry or bus?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I have driven a mini bus, but not on a public road.

Would you take a 20% pay cut if you could work 20% less hours?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

    Yes

Are you good at mentoring others?

I have done that previously and I don't work regular hours now, some days I could work 12 hrs, others as little as 3 or 4, I take time off if I want to as well.

Is your employer flexible with your working hours?
