Hi there. I am trying to lose weight and am succeeding, but quite slowly. (7kg over 4 months.) I am using my fitness pal for this but lately my children bought me a fitbit. When I exercise the Fitbit categorised it as fat burn, cardio or peak. Which is better for me (a) health wise (b) weight loss.

    It doesn't matter. Just excericse.

Fat burn category is low intensity, where energy comes mostly from body fat. But where your energy comes from makes no difference overall. As it balances out over the rest of the day.

Heartrate zones matter for some athletes. Not for regular people trying to lose weight. Just exercise.
