Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Due to a windshear warning they went around. (As cgill got to before me :) )

    Wind 260 degrees (I think) 30kts G 43kts.

    On the ground on second attempt.

    Wind at DUB only 23kts no gusts, strange one.

    Remember the Stobart that took flight at a gate in SNN a few years ago with a gust of 79kts? EI-BYO.

    As far as I can tell it's only the DUB flights experiencing this yes. They said there was an announcement made that bags would not be going on the flight and they would be delivered to LHR later in the day.

    My god the poor staff! I can only imagine the abuse and aggressive angry sighs from pax :O
    This will cause so much mess for people with connecting flights

    Seen her, when I was collecting the car in quick park..

    I came in on the Iberia from Madrid, there was a few pot holes up there alright...

    The service handler was really busy, as our bags were not being handled due to the weather...

    Accoring to flyertalk the A320 has this in the hand book.

    Wind for passenger / cargo door operation:
    Maximum wind for passenger door operation: 65 knots
    Maximum wind for cargo door opening: 40 knots
    The Cargo door must be closed, before the wind speed exceeds 65 knots.

    Was Aerlingus able to get cargo in their own A320s?

    Surly though when parked on stand the terminal would offer enough shelter that this shouldn't be a problem

    A combination, sometimes one will be limited before the other. As an example, DAA probably have safe working limits for ramp staff to be working that could be lower than any aircraft door limit that would halt operations.

    Equally, ground handling equipment such as steps, loading devices or airbridges could have operational limits lower than aircraft wind limits.

    Far from it.

    On Friday morning (early) some aircraft couldn't even open their doors don't mind the hold.
