Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Breast Reduction Criteria

Does anyone know what the current criteria for qualifying for breast reduction are public or on the VHI particularly in relation to BMI? I’m seeing various answers online from 25-30. I fit all other criteria (back pain etc) but I’m working on the BMI and the pain is actually getting worse as I size down and my chest hasn’t!

If you're going through the public health system, you'll need to be referred by your doctor then expect a wait of minimum a year. I'm currently on the list for a reconstruction and reduction. I've been told they want BMI below 30 and will probably tell me to lose weight anyway as the lower the weight the lower the surgery risks
