Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Galway around 10.30 this morning:
Showers not remotely heavy and pass through in seconds. Chilly wind though which makes me long for a hot summer all the more.

Not exciting in itself but gives a nice idea as to how showers affect the country under polar westerlies at this time of year. What will be just as interesting to monitor is how similar set ups later in the spring and summer affect the shower distribution across the country. The heaviest showers then are more likely to affect the very areas that are seeing the least at the moment due to the increased convective potential overland as things begin to heat up. (or mild up at least!)0 -

Possible to change thread title to Wednesday - Thursday ?
I'll go for some sleet and hail showers in the west and north Wednesday morning as the cold front passes through and then Eastern areas too towards evening , with possible snow accumulations above 300m ( problem would be ground being already saturated from the night before )
Id gladly be happy with some sleet and hail showers though at this stage.
THoughts people?
few heavy hail showers and snow showers earlier .....

I think it's more a derailing of Darkmans thread more than anything.
Sandyford is mild tho Looks like the best of the action was reserved for high ground. Which has been the story for the past 4 months. 0 -
