Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

But isnt the Apple Tv 2 nearly 5 years old now? I would be amazed if the Fire TV wasnt far superior!

I'd have persisted with the ATVs if kodi was continuing to support upgrades. Truthfully all I want them for is kodi and Netflix.

They reckon the hardware of the Apple Tv 2 isnt up to it and they have to write loads of code whenever Apple do a software update!

They have mentioned Kodi for the Apple TV 3 but I wouldnt hold my breath!

Guys, can you download any Apps from the Play Store to the Amazon Fire TV?

Best job is the AFTV sideloader app. Download and install it, put in the AFTV's IP, then you can select any app installed on your phone or tablet to install on the AFTV. Very handy.

Ordered one last night after spotting it on hour top 5 deals of the day, I'll side load Kodi and a few other interesting apps think you might need an air mouse or remote keyboard for showbox

Yatze for Kodi and WuKong is good for mouse control.
You can control RTE Player with WuKong

    Hi,
    sorry if already asked,

I just want to run xbmc mainly.

Was about to get a preloaded mx3 (2/8) £64 ish

Would I be better off with the fire at £64 ?

Is it fairly easy to side load xbmc to this.

We've had the FTV a few months now and love it, would recommend it to anyone, but I've a potentially really stupid question to ask, Googling hasn't helped I'm afraid.

So is there a way of either streaming media from my computer to Kodi on the FTV or better yet, transferring it? I just can't figure out how to get my library onto it

I'm hoping these drop in price again soon, as I want to get one for my Dad, I always worry an Amazon update might block the use of Kodi, but so far it's a great box!
