Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nino's in Templemore used to have the best chips, not been there in awhile now, and I think management changed so not sure what they're like now!
Mammas in Nenagh is also a contender! :D

Robertoes in Carrick on Suir, chips are top class, I'm addicted to their chicken kebab and chip at the mo :)

Lyon's chips I feel I'm tasteing the oil rather than the chips.

Mac Burger and Sargent Peppers are the best in Tipp town and surround area for chips.

Mac Burger have the home made variety and Sargent Peppers do the pre frozen chunky type chips.
    Both are excellent

I'm not a huge fan of Lyons chips either but I'd still go there just for the chicken strips.

Probably not widely known but the shop beside the Village Grill in Ballyclerihan does a little line in Antipodean produce. Mrs CML spent some time in Australia and makes the occasional nostalgic purchase of Tim Tams etc.
If anyone knows a homesick Aussie you can direct them there.

I'm going camping with the family in the Glen this weekend, and wondering where a good chipper is. So, which is better - Mac Burger or Sargent Peppers?

If you're camping going to the chipper is cheating :-)

Travelling with husband and three boys aged 10, 7, and 1.
First camping trip, so a little bit of cheating is okay, right?

MacBurger. By far. Traditional Italian type chipper. And Bruno who owns it is a legend.
