Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MH-60 Seahawk out of Casement earlier on ADS-B Ex.

I don't live that far away from Casement, heard a lot of helicopter activity at about 2:30-3am, not the usual Garda helicopter hovering about but what sounded like more than one heavy helicopter and moving quickly. Doesn't show up on FR24 and ADSBexchange doesn't seem to have a playback facility?

    Scrap the cap!

Wonder who owns that? Do the RAF have any? US Navy ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 117 ✭✭dkd21

Hex code is AE4FE2 , can be searched on ADS-B Ex.

@GBX seems to be US Military . REG was 168146 .

Was a surprising sight out the window

I thought I heard a loud helicopter in Clondalkin this morning, but nothing showed up on the radar. It must have been that.

Couldn't make it down as working nights tonight and all weekend....
I'll keep an eye out next week when I'm off and nip down if I hear it's inbound or outbound.

    Thanks all.

well used to observing planes and flight paths etc but nothing like this ?

obviously it was bill gates shipping mind controling vaccines :D but could it possiblly be large military movement?

    anyone notice this?

Would Belfast not have been the better option in an emergency given the location?

Would Belfast not have been the better option in an emergency given the location?

Airlines tend to prefer, where possible, to divert to airports where they have an established ground handling agency.

Dublin would be the preferred diversion location for that reason.

    9H-TQZ HI FLY MALTA

    https://www.planespotters.net/airframe/airbus-a340-300-cs-tqz-hi-fly/38q143

I believe it was painted in Dublin and the reg was changed which is why it's showing up like that on Flightradar as they haven't updated it on their database yet.

Noticed the C17 Globemaster fly over the house this morning around 0830am in the midlands. Chances are it was an RAF aircraft. Wonder are the bits invading. She was fairly low
