Interesting first half.Some of the Cork players haven't got into the game at all.Tipp work very well as a unit but Cork are just delaying the pass and taking too much out of it every time.

We just need to pass it off a bit more and get Turnbull more into the game.

Second Tipp goal showed all that is wrong with Cork hurlers. Far too soft. Forward should never have been left in on goal.

Absolute sickener but didn't play well in the second half. Losing O Regan was huge. Some nice performances though, once again Sean Twomey has to be brought forward for the seniors. Natural fielder of ball and a sweet strike too. Keating at full back was great.

How did we lose that? Should have pulled everyone back. There seemed to be no one in defence when the ball broke for the goal.

Almost the same as the seniors, no one could win possession in the forward line and the defence parts like the red sea!!

Turnbull never got into the game much. We look to have better players but Tipp worked a lot harder. We upped the work rate in the second half at least. Losing O'Regan was crucial too.I think we may meet again in the final anyway.

Robert Downey certainly didn't look anywhere near a senior hurler tonight. A bit like Tim O Mahony a while ago they need to decide is he a defender or a full forward. I'd argue there's better men on that pitch tonight that play either position better. Maybe once he fills out he'll turn into a good player but I dunno, he seems to lack the bite. Lads like Keating, Mellerick and O Leary Hayes have a far better attitude.

Turnbull is a lovely hurler once the ball is in his paw and although some aspects are very similar to Cadogan he's miles away from him at the moment. Still very raw and really needed to be involved more once O Regan went off.

Frustrating one but there's a fine bunch of lads there.

I wouldn't mind seeing these two teams play each other again, that was a great advertisement for hurling. Credit to both teams tonight.

Those players need to remember that hurt tonight. Cork has lost its steel in hurling. We have lost that toughness. Some lovely hurlers but we lack so much in Physical battles and cant seem to out away teams in any grade it's a worry we need to address quickly.

Hurling is there, that is in no doubt, but we gone too soft at times.

Losing becomes a habit. That's Cork hurling right now. We cant win any tight games at any level now. Dissapointing and worrying going forward.

I think you are being very harsh on Cork who I personally thought hurled oustandingly well tonight. Yes, they need to perhaps tighten up at the full back line but I would put Tipperarys victory down to getting the bit of luck at the right time. There was absolutely nothing between the two teams. Dont forget our goalkeeper made a top drawer save in the first half when Cork were in the ascendency. No disrespect to either Kilkenny or Wexford, but I feel that both Cork and Tipp will meet in the final of this competition if they can raise their performances for next day.

was at the game. people here saying Cork threw it away are way off the mark. it was a great game of hurling with nothing betwen both teams. Tipp hit alot of wides early on. wind was swirling. I think O regans injury waqs crucial. Connery was struggling with cramp or a knock late on but still fought hard and was unlucky that his final shot went wide. The players were gutted on the pitch afterwards. they didnt bottle this tipp won it. Think collins wont be happy with the winning goal though.

Would agree with that, absolutely nothing between both sides, a fantastic advert for the game and an example I guess of why this grade has been persisted with despite an over run calender. I think it should also be noted the role the referee played, we are all very quick to criticsie referees but can be slow to praise them on a job well done, he definitley played a part last night and in a positive way.

Having watched the replay of the goal, to be fair to Collins, Morris struck it in a very hard place for a keeper to stop it unless it hits his body, I dont know if Morris meant it or not but it was right in that sweet spot, if he goes across Collins like most would it makes it a lot easier for the keeper, Morris also took the shot relatively quickly which may have caught Collins by suprise, I think most forwards there take the ball in a few yards closer.

Great save in fairness but the shot was poor. Back across the keeper, instead of low into the corner, which was the easier shot.

At least we have Cork forwards gunning for goals, which is a positive to take.

Cork were seconds away from winning that game last night. Its a game of centimetres really and fortunately from a Tipp POV they went our way.
When Joe Canning slotted over a last minute winner two years ago which was seemingly through the eye of an needle, the cm didnt go our way and Bubbles shot a minute later went a fraction wide. Speak of Bubbles, his own free deviated within yards of the post back in 2014.

I honestly couldnt say either team deserved it more than the other last night. It was a classic for the ages. One of the best games ive ever seen and my verdict would have been no different had we lost.

Following on from successful ticket packages in April , Cork GAA is pleased to announce that another package will be available for the remaining rounds of the County championships across all grades. The move follows a review of ticket pricing by a sub-committee of the County Board Executive .
A €100 pass can be purchased to cover all remaining county championship games with the exclusion of the Senior Football Final and Senior Hurling Final match days and any replays of those finals.

It was wide to be fair but i understand that one of Cork's frees in the first half was touch and go too. Id have to look back on that though.

Has Meyler been that bad? Won a Munster and beat a Limerick team this year in their own backyard? Might work better as a Cork selector perhaps but he strikes me as a hurling fanatic. Would perhaps suit an Offaly or a Westmeath down to pal and done fantastic work with Wexford, Carlow and Kerry.

Would Kingston return do you think? Or perhaps even Sully take it on?

Donal Og would be lovely for the job but you'd imagine there'd be too many people he annoyed in the County Board to allow that to happen for a few years yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if Donal O'Grady's name popped up again

Both Donals have very lucrative "jobs". Would the Cork County Board be willing to compensate them should either be interested.

Just curious why you think Donal Óg is a better option? Has he done anything besides a poor job as a coach with Clare? Would much rather see him take a job like Eddie Brennan did with Laois before he got a chance with the Cork team.

Just feel the last few were good coaches but possibly lacking the motivational edge. Donal Og seems to be the sort of voice that could rile up a dressing room and would get plenty of respect from players who grew up watching him play.

What a second half. Armagh went a full 10 points ahead with 13 minutes remaining.
Cork came thundering back with Ciara,Scally and Saoirse - Should have been on 5 mins earlier - doing great work. Fantastic game, thoroughly enjoyable.

Meyler got his chance. So did Kingston. They failed they shouldnt get any 2nd chances. Someone new needed with a bit of guts and who is ruthless. Love to see Davy Fitz taking it on. He would get the best out of the team no doubt. But that wont happen.
