Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Used an eir sim last night and order cancelled this morning. 4th time.

What a joke of an operation. Won't bother again.

Trying to order the A21 but I cannot get the 100 euro off, where is the option in the basket/checkout?

The only purchase option is "Vodafone Customer
    Keep my current top-up offer"

  • Registered Users Posts: 116 ✭✭pelemcg

After contacting chat earlier in the week about the Samsung I ordered last Saturday, phone now with An Post. Seems very hit and miss though.

Add to basket and it should ask you are you an existing customer or new. Choose new, keep my number, enter your number, click other network provider and choose either pay as you go or bill depending on what you are porting in and then the verification button should ungrey itself.

Pay as you go, if you choose bill pay they'll look for an account number.

I just got mine delivered today. Should I port the new number to a different network now? I just wanted the phone. Wondering if the new number is now in a contract or if I will.be charged for the Vodafone PAYG offer.

Is this the best way to order a new phone through Vodafone/other network instead of buying sim free one? Is Payg better option than bill pay and can change new phone to original number and contract?

Maybe things might improve once they meet gov about customer issues it be ok by the new year?

I had issues with the code last Saturday, took over an hour to come through, tried several times. Tried early Sunday morning and got code straight away.

Ordered mine Monday and arrived today, postman rang me to say it was probably a phone and would he leave it in the mailbox as I was out for a bit. Unfortunately I was in the car at the time with the mrs and he was on speaker. Now she knows

Thought I'd managed to order one this morning but at the last minute it wouldn't add a payment card. Think I'll give up at this stage.

Arrived this morning with a load of other parcels from Amazon.
In fairness I ordered last Sunday, so a week in these times is not bad imo.

Jaysus my Postman better taking his vitamins. The amount of parcels in his van this past week every morning when he comes to us is massive. And its not even December yet

Ordered yesterday. Could see it as Submitted under My Orders. Today when I log in it shows I have no orders.

Does it mean they cancelled it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 190 ✭✭madmaxvideo

Can you order numerous phones on the same email address, or how are people getting around multiple orders and email? Have had an order cancelled using lyca mobile, and that was the reason given for the cancellation

I usually put a . somewhere in my email address and that suffices.
    Example instead of joeblogs@gmail.com
    Put in j.oeblogs@gmail.com

Comes up as different email address for the receiver but emails sent to it, still come to your original joeblogs@gmail.com
