Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Prosecco €5 a bottle in Tesco (or €4.75 if you buy six and get the 5% off deal). Fornarina brand

Bear in mind this is the lower carbonated semi-sparking prosecco

    http://blog.farehamwinecellar.co.uk/2015/01/30/frizzante-prosecco/

They can sell at lower price as quality of the prosecco is lower, & duty is lower on semi-sparkling wine.

Go for it if you don't mind, but if you like real prosecco you'll be disappointed when you pop this stuff (there's not much of a pop, to start off with).

Did you miss my post??? Also it's limited to 4 per person so have to add two bottles of other wine to get 5% off

Yes, I did miss it. I bought 6 bottles via click and collect at Nass with the 5% off no problem so didn't see the signs about any quotas in store nor did the picker adhere to that apparently. €4.75 a bottle isn't bad - the guy at the pickup van said it is sold out now though

I ordered 12 bottles online via click and collect,
Went to pick it up and was told it was out of stock. Also got a text to say it was out of stock , I happened to be in the store and saw staff bringing some out to friends. I confronted him and the manager , needless to say they were very embarrassed as they were caught lying and breaching the terms and conditions of the online store.
I got the 12 bottles and will be lodging an official complaint as they had charged my card and lied about being out of stock

I believe they should have supplied a similar item and price matched it down to the €5 unless you selected no substitutions?

Picked up 4 bulmers strawberry and lime cans for €8 in my local Spar (perrystown) I think the cans have more of the bulmers twang than the bottles of the same. They also have the cloudy lemon for the same price

Much as I like Franziskaner, I think I'll be sticking with Leffe for the moment while it remains at 6 for a 4-pack in Dunnes.

Anybody know what the above is like? 20 bottles for 14 quid in aldi on thursday

Edit: Appears to be an "american style beer" guessing Bud looking a box and images. So might appeal to the Bud drinkers out there

It looks like a bud rip off alright.

With so many other better beers out there and in Lidl for that matter why on earth someone would buy this piss water is beyond me.

And I know each to their own but if you haven't tried the other beers there seriously give them a go.

They have some lovely Belgian dubbels there at the moment and if that's not your thing the likes tsing tsao (fairly sure I'm spelling that wrong and couldn't be assed looking it up) is more like your euro larger you're used to but a lot nicer.
