I seen VR a few times and I thought they were brilliant in their own right. Of course Slash is a legend but Weiland has been one of the best front men of the 20 years. They only broke up because he was always strung out. Their first album in particular is a fav of mine.

I am just doing the sunday, had no interest in friday or saturday - and with sonisphere being awesome i decided - full weekend there and sunday at DL!

i have to say, Alter Bridge, were one of the bands that i was most looking forward to seeing and tehy didnt disappoint at DL, it was them and Killswitch as my highlights of the weekend.

Myles' Voice is quality and watch over you in acoustic just blew me away. great finish to a savage weekend!!

i love getting to see a band live, just makes me listen to their stuff even more when they perform like AB did at DL

Mark also sung a song, and was surprised at how good his voice is too

Wait i phrased that the wrong way, was hoping for news on Fortress's follow up, or that Mark was sorting through ideas for the next album.... I'll definitely be there when Tremonti does play Ireland, schedule not clashing hopefully, same for Alter Bridge in 2016 if the do finally visit this little island of ours.
