    The wind seems to be easing a little in Cork city. Temperature slowly dropping too, now down to 15.6C, pressure still 994hPa.

    Afraid not, fog has receded a bit since but the hills are still all mist/fog and winds still strong.

    Wet and miserable here in Donegal Town. Blustery but no wind howl yet. High tide at 6.08pm should be interesting.

    The mist is just heavy rain being blown in the wind, at least around here it is. Awful day with persistent heavy rain and strong winds. Just after driving the length of the R250 and theres lots of localised flooding and standing water on the road, the river Finn has burst its banks in a few places but with Donegal having very little flat land the water isnt really doing any damage

    Still light rain here, just watching the BBC forecast and they have heavy rain again for later over the north as well as frequent heavy showers tomorrow so a real flood risk for lower ground I'd imagine
