Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I like this commentator on eurosport, sounds knowledgeable and seems to be engrossed in the generally lamentable proceedings.
This match on now pretty decent tbf between Herewini and Stainton

John Gwynn. Used to do Darts with Sky (possibly still does) and does Soccer Saturday reporting

I think Herewini wins easy now that he's levelled at a set apiece. His dander is up.
    3 - 1 to Herewini for me

1st prize for men is £50k, I feel this is the end for BDO. This is like Vauxhall conference darts v premiership. Venue poor, cheap looking dartboards and to be fair and odd good player.

    Thanks for that. Never really heard of him. Deserves more gigs/whatever;
sounds like the sort of bloke who could also do the cricket/rugby and the likes.
    Maybe he does.

Have any of the PDC 'majors' this low of a 1st prize?

Obviously not. PDC is a fully professional global brand that draws in millions from tv companies and advertisers

    Unlikely i'd say :D
Don't have a clue though, surely someone on here would know

Audio tonight is a lot better. But the stage setup seems so wrong imho.

I’m not on the BDO death side yet and I’m willing to give it until next Sunday to see how it progresses.

Yes the standard of play is inferior but it’s always thrown up some fun matches.

UK open was 70k up until last year.

No dont think so, just looked Wright was 8th in the premier league in 2019 and received £50k.

That opens up the debate of what's a major. Match play, Grand Prix, Grand Slam and World Championships for me.

Pretty decent averages for the level. 86 & 87. Not too shabby for "amateurs" in my
humble opinion. If 1 in 3 matches are like this in the early rounds, could be quite an
    entertaining comp. Hopefully

Going by her photo Tori Kewish could be this year's pin up girl.
    Very attractive

For anyone who hasn't seen Beau Greeves play yet I highly recommend it. Shes on around 7:40 tonight. 14 years old. Your mind will be blown.

Good call, playing real well so far. Hope you stuck a tenner/ or more on her.
Fk me, she's good (comparatively) :)

Goodnight Vienna. Hopefully it's the end of Paul Nicholson as well as the BDO. He spouts some amount of crap. OK he's trying to talk up the BDO, but some of the stuff he is coming out with is ridiculous.

Shes been beating the likes of Lisa Ashton an Fallon all year with ton or near averages. She played poor there by her high standards.

That's the first game I watched, the lightning is atrocious, cant really see if darts are in treble or not, few 95s looked like 180s. How hard can it be to get that right like!

"she's going to take some beating (Greaves) " sez Rawling. Will check oddschecker later,
could well be the current favourite on that showing. Tori Kewish not exactly rubbish herself.

Was better for the first two matches. They have big issues getting this setup right

He's no Part for sure. And Rawling's no John Gwynn (thanks R Hillman for telling me who he is).

Personally I hope the BDO stays and somehow by some quirk of fate in years
to come it might be the "New and improved BDO".

Be nice for those who don't have sky and can at least watch an odd match on Quest..... Or maybe even back to BBC

Enough of the effin morbid ruddy illness talk. It's supposed to be entertainment.

Either that or racism or parity of pay.

Bet John Gwynn will have no pc crap to say during Williams' match.

    Please be up next John...
