I see in a last ditch show of spite Trumps administration is going to now try and push through the sale of oil rights in the Artic reserve to his oil barron buddies.

In a time of climate and biodiversity crisis he sees this as a priority.

The more vaccines that reach the production stage the better. Yes this one looks like it's better than the earlier one in many ways but is the health of the world something to be used in a pissing fight?

I would love to see the controls on the clinical trials and the participants results.
One wonders whether the results are post some participants being excluded with unfavourable results.
Not in the Irish trials I know :-)

Will we all have a vaccine by next summer?
I'm sure Key workers, the vulnerable and Trump supporters are first in line. I wonder if healthy Irish will be back of the queue to get one of these vaccines?

    In all seriousness.

What’s the story with trump pushing through all the federal executions ?

Biden has said he will stop them completely.

Is Trump just executing people now just to wind Biden up ??

You should read the rap sheets for the inmates that are been executed, the next one due up was a father who murdered his two year old daughter by repeatedly smashing her head of the steering wheel of his truck, isn't the death penalty applicable in the above

Gladly not many countries use the death penalty nowadays. One reason is innocent people will also be put to death from time to time.

Unlikely they will win the two of them. Bookies have GOP on about a 70% chance of holding onto control of the Senate. While DT is doing the candidates no favours it very hard d to overcome two incumbents.

Latest polls have Ossoff up 1.4 points and warner up 2.

It seems that there is limited polling and after the inaccuracy of US polls in the November elections there is a certain amount of scepticism of the polls. As well polls are often carried out with a certain amount of bias depending on the results required. While both sides have. Spend a substantial amount of money the Democrats have outspend the Republicans. Yes the two Democrat. Candidates have pulled ahead in the polls over last few days however you are still in the margin of error of 2% and the Democrats needs to win the two seats. I hope they do but it would be unusual to unseat two incumbents in a traditionally GOP state. Gap in presidential race was less than 12k votes across complete state. You would need a fairly equal split of all votes across both election areas.

Having said all that Stacy Abrams has carried out a massive amount of voter registration over the last two years. In the preceeding 4 years when Kemp was Secretary of state of Georgia he deregistered about 700k voter's. If the Democrats. Win the two Senate seats it will be thanks to her. Win or lose it will be an example for activists in other state where there is substantial amount of people who are not registered mostly Black and Hispanic, states like Texas and Florida may come more into play

Republicans weren’t one bit worried about the national debt for the past 4 years but that tube will change in 14 days time!

As for the economy, 2019 figures (latest available figures I could find) GDP growth for CA (2.6%) and NY (2.4%) were ahead of the national average (2.1%)

But with Covid both will be be hit hard due to large urban populations and being the two centers on the entertainment and tourism industries which has been decimated worldwide

Nebraska naturaly isn’t going to be hit as hard but wasn’t flying it to start with.
Growing corn isn’t really affected by a pandemic

Again, statements like this show how trump gets his blindly unwavering support.

I'm not sure where you've gotten your info from but it's patently and unquestionably wrong.

The statement of "crooked and desperate" you responded to was putting it very mildly.

Trump wanted them to "find" (via numerous conspiracy theory accusations) 11,779 / 11,780 / 12,000 votes (depending on which of his ramblings

Telling me to "read down a few paragraphs" tells us what exactly? You obviously haven't read/listened to it. You're cherry picking bits.

    Trump "deemed" illegal....utterly meaningless.

That's not going to happen. If he did go down that road, it still doesn't help him.
    jaymla627 wrote: »

You're not highlighting anything. You're having a wild guess. The same statements were said in the run up to 2016, through 2017/2018 etc. about Trumps administration.
In any case, it's all still irrelevant to the "find me 11,779/11,780, 12,000 votes" part.

    jaymla627 wrote: »
you have nearly half the population seeing Biden as illegitimate president weather rightly our wrongly

Wrong again. To insinuate that every Trump voter or even close to 50% of the population believes that the entire vote was rigged/fraudulent is wildly off.
    jaymla627 wrote: »
and the other half who voted for him just to get the orange man out who has been nailed to the cross as having orchestrated all Americans current problems

Wrong again. It is beyond strange logic..... So there are no regular/dyed in the wool democratic voters? Not one of them listened to both candidates and decided on Biden?? Just voted for anyone but Trump.....all 80 million of them......sure.

Biden has openly condemned both Antifa and BLM violence. As far as "strung along" goes - how so? And if so, is it not a good thing they've cast them aside and are no longer listening to them?

But same tactic - "Extreme far left" etc deflection I highlighted above.

Read down a few paragraphs the votes he wants to find pertain to reversing alleged spoiled and not countable ballots that Trump deemed illegal

Trump's problem was that the black vote came out. This was made easier by postal ballots. Taking Georgia as an example when Kemp (the present state Governer) was Sec of State he took about 700k of the voting register. These were mainly black voters.it was practised right across the state. Along with that they reduced the polling stations in black neighbourhoods which had the impact that on election days( mainly in November) black voters had to que for hours to vote.

This happened in the Spring for the Democratic primaries there was massive que's at Democratic polling stations and this transferred into a fear that with COVID that it would impact the election. With the dear if COVID more democratic voters opted for postal balloting and with the issues with black neighbourhoods polling stations activists encouraged black voters to register for postal ballots.

Georgia in particular had serious issues with the primaries and Rafenbrager a Republican had to allow postal balloting similar to some Democratic run states. The Republican issue is that for the last while due to there control at state level they have been gerrymandering election constituency's to help them maintain control at State, Senate and gain control of Congress. There is a huge reward for them with electoral votes decided by national censuses to disenfranchise parts of the population that will vote Democratic to allow them to win Senate and presidency's with 47-48 %of the national vote. This was one of the few times the total poll was counted due to no concession from either side it shone a huge light on the issues..
