    Wet for much of the day here in Kerry alternating between mist, drizzle and light rain one good sized shower just a while ago, still amounts relatively small at 2.8mm.

    Windier this evening with 10 min avg of 21 kph NNW

    7.9C ( also the lowest reading today) down from a high of 10.7C, temps set to drop as the night goes on, should pick up a few more showers here.

    RH 78% now feeling nice and fresh

    Looks like Met Eireann could be under estimating temperatures tonight. With very calm conditions I would be expecting -5 at least.
    With frost slow to clear tomorrow if at all in sheltered spots. Local thermometer already at 0c here in cork

    Chilly but mainly dry and clear with small wisp of cloud clinging like cloud to the Kerry mountains. I was told in Killorglin that there was a dusting of snow seen atop the high peaks early today. ie Carrantouhill.. I drove home that way but cloud caps obscured vision

    Just before I left home this morning, there was a light rain shower however my house is located between two hills and cold air had pooled during the night. Temperature was 0.6c at the time and the rain froze on contact with the cars in the driveway so I guess I technically got freezing rain!

    Fog never cleared in the valley at home today. Max of 4.4c around lunchtime and already down to 1.9c. Could be freezing fog for a while this evening.

    After a calm bright sunny day here near Tralee a big change now with rain since 19.00 ( 2mm ) and after getting windy, 10 min avg 24 kph NNW ( gust 50 kph ), set top move Eastwards this evening.

    Doing a few jobs around the place until a short time ago and feeling icy on the hands with current temp 7.1C ( high 8.7C /low 4.5C )
