Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mvp is brilliant to watch rack up a highlight reel legendary finishes but this is gonna be a train wreck when they match him against somebody who isnt 40 or a bum, round 1 he was like a white belt got dominated on the ground.

My aul lad who isn't an MMA fan was engrossed by MVP's flying knee. I'll get him hooked yet.

    Outstanding timing on that knee.

I honestly think I could do silly things to him in a roll.

Anybody know what BJJ belt is MVP?

In a roll where I'm not worrying about him trying to hit me or get up and run away, I reckon I'd transition around him for fun.

His defence is basic as balls, he looks to have done the typical learn how defend on bottom and stall in hopes of a stand up.

I'm almost sure they had an event in France last year.

Google tells me they did but not without complications.

Could be something special alright! I really like MVP but he's only looking good because of who he is fighting. Nothing wrong with that though his job is entertainment and he definitely does that.

Great finish by MVP but rolling the Pokemon ball at the guy was very distasteful tho!!

Thompson seems like he is on autopilot. Seems to be out but still fighting on!

Doing a good job of making Mittrione look too bad which I guess is the point! Rugby vs American football! Come on the rugby!

Given Thompsons background you would expect him to be dominant in the clinch but he seems to have nothing.

    Meathead doing what Meathead does.

So are they gonna make Matt fight someone in 3 weeks time now?

MVP is always at that sort of thing. A lot of what he does is good for entertainment but then there's stuff like that where there's no need he's already got the finish don't be doing crap when they are on the floor.

Jesus christ, these lads aren't nimble and keeping their hands down like that. Dreadful standard.

Dunno about heart. Can take a punch no doubt but not offering anything in return. Dreadful boxing, non existing wrestling.

MVP fight on +1 now for those that missed it.

Its the Homer Simpson style of fighting.Hope they get tired from punching you and fall over with exhaustion!

30-27 to Lima for me even though he was clearly goosed going into the 3rd. Looked like Daly could have finished him if he could have kept it standing.

The spoiler I got was that Lima dropped him in the first round.

I thought he had him finished while I was frantically trying to mash Alt+F4. :pac:

Good card of fights enjoyed them despite the delay,no testing in bellator anyways judging by meat heads opponent passes no eye test.

Terrible news about Cyborg however. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery.

MVP has 4 fights left on his Bellator deal. Would love to see him in the UFC afterwards. If he wins his next two fights against higher opposition they should give him Bendo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,850 ✭✭✭Depp

    He's the ultimate Conor wannabe.

dont get the hate gallagher gets, seems like a nice lad with bags of talent and a big future ahead of him, odd to criticize a lad for following the lead of arguably one of the best mma promoters on the go

Bendo would strangle him within a round, they are milking him before hes thrown to the wolves.
