Richie Kavanagh - Aon Focal Eile"Hi Rikand. Rock and Roll by the Velvet Underground is a song performed by a band that couldn't play, fronted by a man who couldn't sing for people who didnt care. The production sucks. The lyrics are awful. These poseurs were boosted by the same crowd that boosted Andy Warhol's work on the same basis- talent is overrated, get attention by utilising your societal connections and some mugs somewhere will buy the product. It is the worst song of all time in conception, formation, execution, recording and in the fact that along with the rest of their work it found an audience to fawn over it. The world is a worse place for it having come into existence and gets a little worse any time it is played. Im angry just thinking about it. Thanks for listening.
"Stupid song from a stupid man who looks like he should be on some sort of watchlist. A favourite of drunken arseholes when it was first released.
