players who have been in recent camps, plus a few lads who could get in if they get healthy.

Ryan Lomas played tighthead for Wegians yesterday. Oran McNulty was named to start at 15 but didn’t play, not sure if he’s injured.

McNulty is u19, I know he’s highly rated but would he be good enough to get ahead of some of the lads a age grade above? Believe Hugh lane is injured also

I believe is was 38-17 to Ireland. 'understand it was a good competitive game and that there were few standouts . Fewer mistakes and errors than you would expect from groups that have been cobbled together. Irish players seemed noticeably bigger but Leinster had (minor ) edge on speed and mobility.

another match next week, giving coaches a chance to look at others especially those on the wrong side of 50/50 call this week, eg Turner maybe, Clarkson definitely. camp again for the rest immediately after Christmas. at least 3 players not involved who should a WC - Penny and two Ulster backs . so not too much to be read into selections
