    Very fast turnaround ,compared to people in Germany and the UK who have been giving shipping dates in July and August .

    It looks like Lenovo prioritise each country separately .
    So not many people in Ireland ordered compared to the UK and Germany so we get the laptops much quicker than them .
    Did anyone who ordered the metal palmrest get a shipping notification ?

    And how did you decipher that out of interest?
    Good news on the shipping confirmations. There was never a doubt that Lenovo would not fulfill these orders as some in the thread were saying.

    Its an educated guess .
    People in Germany ,where the deal was first announced ,and the Uk ordered well before me and most of the posters on here and they have been given shipping dates in June ,July and August whereas our orders have shipped.
    I only ordered my laptop at the end of April and it shipped the same day as people on here who ordered a week earlier.
    The first people to order in Germany have only had their orders shipped today too.

    Weird, just got an email from Lenovo to say that some part of my order was delayed and my new shipping date would be May 11th...

    Funny thing is, my order already shipped last Saturday and is on the way.

    Odd alright. What does the shipping link in the shipping email say? Mine (UPS) says it has moved from Hefei on May 9 to Shanghai on May 10. Maybe it's something that can be sent separately, like the USB-C power cable.

    Yes my tracking says the same. The Lenovo shipping status page also says estimated delivery on May 11th which was a bit ambitious :)

    Ignore Lenovo's prediction of May 11.

    I'd say May 13 at earliest for anyone in Ireland. And that would be very optimistic.
