Sea Eagles and Dragons was very one-sided, this Titans, Raiders game looks like it's going the same way. Hopefully last game of the day might be a bit closer, or Titans pull their fingers out (unlikely).

Newcastle Knights vs Sydney Roosters. Knights to get the surprise win.

Brisbane Broncos vs Gold Coast Titans. Broncos, but wouldn't be surprised if Titans ran them close or even get the 2 points.

Manly Sea Eagles vs Melbourne Storm. Storm.

Canberra Raiders vs New Zealand Warriors Raiders. Heart says Warriors but in reality fancy the Raiders.

St George Illawarra Dragons vs North Queensland Cowboys. Dragons (hopefully)

Penrith Panthers vs Cronulla Sharks. Panthers.

Parramatta Eels vs Wests Tigers. Tigers, the surge up the ladder begins in earnest.

Once Mbye moved to hooker and frawley came on and that waste of space lichaa came off they looked much better and dangerous.

Broncos good value for money excitement wise. Not involved in many very one sided games this year. Titans just couldn't get out of their own half. Excellent game.

Good game this morning. No defence to speak of from either team much. Makes for an exciting watch any way. Tigers lead by 6 at half time.

Jebus the Tigers got nothing from the ref last 10. Weren't given an obvious off side deep inside Eels half and Tedesco nearly had his head taken off and no penalty.

Which players do you think are standing out so far? I've been impressed with Joey Leilua. He's being talked about for Test and Origin call-ups.

Latrell Mitchell in the Earlier rounds (soft in his last outing )
Frawley has changed the Doggies
Jason Taumalolo - beast
Paul Vaughan has been really good
Widdop great for the Dragqueens
Cam Smith as always
... and for me Tedesco , the guy is a gun in a piss poor team ( I would love the doggies to get him)

Definitely Widdop for the Dragons and Tedesco for Tigers. Coen Hess is a talent too at the Cowboys, takes some stopping though maybe not the finished article.

utterly utterly depressed over fridays game. Even from the sideline , I could see it was a knock on.

Was a bit of a Heartbreaker alright. Said it before, Broncos great value if you want a close game.

Finally get to see my first game of the round. I'm not optimistic it's going to be much of a contest, but maybe the good old Warriors will prove me wrong.

I'm contemplating getting up at 6 for Titans v Knights, though I might be sensible and start with Bulldogs Raiders at 8. Working Sunday so I'll miss those games

Pleased for the Warriors to get the win. I thought it was going to be more heartbreak for them.

Looks like Storm are the team to beat this season. I do love their threat down the side from Vunivalu and Addo-Carr.
