    I think crowds will suffer at the Irish Open because of this. I go pretty much every year but won't next year with the Open a couple of week later, others I've spoken to about it saying the same.

    Campervan and berth at campsite in Lahinch all sorted!!! Driving down Thursday evening and heading to the golf on Fri, Sat and Sun.

    Question for ye. If we head to the golf in the morning, will we be allowed back in again in the evening if we into town or back to the campsite for lunch?

    You just need to get a wristband on the way out and then you can come and go as you please, very straightforward.

    I would imagine it is somebody involved in the WGC at the moment. Who though is the question. My money is on Rose given he has said he won't play the week before a major.

    Lots of money being spent down on the coast currently in preparation for the Irish Open.

    Roads being laid, footpaths upgraded, properties painted and repainted.

    The sun has reappeared too in recent days.

    p.s. Lots of coastal erosion defence works going on around the prom area too. The surfers are saying it's changing the nature of the surfing conditions.
