Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tried to register but it keeps telling me that maximum age is 99 and wont continue. I am not a centenarian! Have tried in Firefox and Chrome and is doing the same, not running windows so cannot try Internet Explorer, anyone else able to register?

I tried, with the same result as yourself. :(

Edit: their Facebook page says it will be fixed this morning.

I managed it in the end by changing my birth year to 2018, I'll be the youngest entrant ever :)

I'm in too! Have heard great things about this race. Unless I can find another HM before it, this will be my first HM since DCM so I'm very excited and very much looking forward to it.

    What is the course like

It's a 2 loop course (1st loop longer as it takes a detour) but fairly flat so a definite pb course

For various reasons I never got around to it!

I wouldn't give it to that chancer anyway! :pac:

Seriously though, the very kind young lady who transferred to me did all the work. I just got an email from the organisers saying it was being transferred and there was a €5 administration charge to have my name and details transferred to the entry.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,799 ✭✭✭Huzzah!

Emmm. I've gone back through my emails and looked online to try and remember, but I can't! I think there was a link in the confirmation of entry email and then you enter the transferee's email address and that's pretty much it. I do remember that it didn't work on Chrome...

Anyone know if there's pacers in this race and what times they are aiming for?
I've looked on Google and FB but can't see an answer.
    Thanks!

Love the t-shirt but it is too small. Can I exchange it for a bigger size? It is definitely sized smaller than previous Bohermeen t-shirts.

Hey coogy, I've read about there being a field to park in and if its raining , we may need a push to get going when we're finished! Ha!

Lots of people parked on side roads last year. There are a couple of shuttle buses ferrying people up the road to the community centre.

I thought it was cute! Ha!

Seriously though I have parked in a field for many a race and was darn grateful for it. No issues there, it was just reading about the trouble some had leaving a rain soaked field... I may bring my wellies if its raining that day!

I just parked on the side of the road and I was there quite late. wasn't a problem. did have to walk maybe a km to the centre and then maybe another km back to the start line.

There were last year. I think it was every ten minutes from 1:30 up...not sure if they went over 2:00

    Thanks

"Hard" is a relative term, this is a flat(ish) course with no major hills or drags. Wind could play a factor but it is a pb potential course. It's a 2 lap course (1st lap is longer as you take a detour to add on the distance).

So basically get to know the course on the first lap and then plan your attack if you have anything for the second.

Hope to go with the 1:40 pacers, think i am stronger than I was for Charleville last Sept, did 7 13 miles runs in training.

I just got a definite reply to this from Bohermeen AC. Pacers are for 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00 and 2:10
