    Best advice I've been given.....

    Bitterness only effects the bitter party....

    It was such a lightbulb moment when they said it as ive seen it through family fallings out ...You could literally have waited years stewing, or waiting for revenge for some wrong when really all you are destroying is your own peace of mind.

    Everything happens as a purely by chance.
    There’s no higher power or guiding force.
    Everyone’s here at this moment in time by chance.
    Nothing really matters.
    But that’s no reason to not be kind to others, nor is it justification for being a sour mopey pr!ck.
    Just do what you want so long as it doesn’t hurt others or yourself.
    Try and get some enjoyment out of life, that’s about all it’s worth.
    Whether that comes from owning a Ferrari or watching your kid grow up, it doesn’t really matter beyond the fact that it makes you happy.. and you’re not hurting anyone else.

    A cup of tea is always a good thing and shared is better

    If you can buy a homeless person a cup of tea coffee maybe some lunch whatever you can afford take a moment with them

    Pay it forward

    Everyone is replaceable so work hard find your happy spot and if it isn't working look elsewhere.

    Happy in the bedroom happy everywhere

    Make sure to tell those important to you often that you love them whether on the phone or in a text as you never know when will be the last conversation

    Even in an argument make sure the person knows its not them but the situation that frustrates you

    Hugs are free give them and accept them

    Do something happy once a day at least

    Laughing is good for you try to do it often

    Make sure there is colour in your life

    Make sure the one you love laughs with you not at you

    Hug a tree

    My grandmother had a saying "please yourself and you will be pleasing everybody else" I never really understood it but as I get along in years I can kind of see what she was thinking.

    Aiming to be happy is stupid. Happiness is fleeting and usually outside of your control. Identify your talents, enjoy them, work to improve them. Express your love to those you love. Have as much sex as you can. Travel as much as you can. Learn to tolerate yourself. Learn to relax (I never did). Sleep well. Laugh at how ridiculous this life is.
