Order your own food too for crying out loud. It's not like they have fish and chips on the menu and you're going to make a mess of it.

Whatever you do in your snobby restaurant, for the sake of everything that's good in the world, learn to multi post and stop spamming.

That is quite the eatery. I doubt it would fill a hole in your tooth though. Is there a take away near by you can fill up on? The portions in these places are awful.

    Judgemental!
    but spot on....

I was a re reg and allowed to continue because it was decided i am a nice poster with no malice.

    Mods just found it confusing.

    :)

You however I am not sure are without malice. I think you are nasty if you think you can get away with it. Or its within the rules.

Portions are small but it’s still a struggle after the 15th course taster menu.

Have you ever seen a bird eat? Messy as sin.

Do you know the menu which you can chose from?

This seems a really sinister line of questioning. It's exactly as I told you. Or at least that is what mods told me.

I don't really feel i want to get to know you further.

    I have a job. -_-

And I probably earn more than you too! And I don't even NEED to work!

And the irony of you someone like you talking about etiquette.

Hmmm. Educated enough and soft skilled enough to achieve a good job but independently wealthy at the same time. An unlikely person to be uncomfortable in a classy establishment.

Heres a tip though, the truly independently wealthy don't give a shyte what fork to use and what topics of conversation may be taboo in polite company, the fine establishment needs such people far more than the other way round.

If you know my background and story you would get it. Not that i am like ROLLING in it. Just comfortable. I couldn't go wild with money etc.

Umkay! :) I will just be nice!

I thought the top establishments act like they don't need customers?

Why not put her on ignore? She seems to overly bug you for no sane reason.

Money can’t buy grace and good manners. I expect you have both, so don’t blow it out of proportion.

Just order what you’d like from the menu, ask the waiter for a recommendation of a well suited wine, put the napkin on your lap and remember to rest your cutlery on the side of the plate, handles on the table and put your cutlery together on the plate when you’re done.

And your phone should remain silenced and never be in your hand at any point once you walk in the door if you can help it at all.

    Enjoy the evening.

There's different menus, Dinner, Tasting, Chefs, Friday Lunch, they are all different. If it is just you and one other on a Wednesday night, it's most likely the Dinner or Tasting menu. Tell us what you had and if it was any good ;)

    PRAISE THE LAWD!!!

Well I would just wear suit pants and shirt but not a tie, or nice jeans and a suit jacket with casual shirt. Dress shoes with both outfits. A dress for the ladies, if they wear dresses. Smart casual I think would be the way. Depends on the company on the night.

I wouldn't think about it too much. Wear what you are comfortable in. A lot of people who go to these places are in the same boat as you.
