XML errors (not sure where going wrong)

Hi folks

Assistance would be appreciated on the below. I'm currently building a static-data database. The below are three small samples of XMLs.

The first two are fine but the third one I'm having issues with. Any ideas how I can fix it?

You've tried to create an element called sport="Professional Wrestling". What you want is an element called sport, and an attribute (called name?) with a value of "Professional Wrestling"

Thanks man - Sorry; I'm pretty much working from-scratch, so I'm guessing these queries are beyond basic.

I don't fully understand what I've done wrong in line 4 here.

The end goal is the have the XML elements/attributes all set up, and to have another software that I can input live info into and it populates the XML docs from there.

You haven't added the closing '>' to your league tags

You should also reconsider the design of your XML structure. You're using attributes to store everything, which has some notable drawbacks. Take [html]<league alias="WWE" name="World Wrestling Entertainment" global-id="1" />[/html]Say you wanted to add a second alias of "WWF": you can't. Attribute names must be unique for a given element. However, if you used an element-based structure, you could do this:[html]<league global-id="1">
<alias>WWE</alias>
<alias>WWF</alias>
<name>World Wrestling Entertainment</name>
