So even in the (second) worst case scenario now where Sagan wins the stage and Sam gets DQ, he still wins by 3 points by my reckoning.

Aye if Sam got DQ in the sprint he'd win by 3 pts, assuming Sagan won.

No he gets penalised 25% of the winners 50 pts = 12.5 rounded up to 13 (Just happens 13 was what Sagan scored in the intermediate when he was DQ'd)

Sagan kept the points from the intermediate on the stage he was D'qed. The points he lost on that stage were 30 for coming second and 13 being 1/4 of the points availabel to the winner on the stage (rounded up).

Enric Mas is 5th ...I can honestly say I never saw him all Tour yet he beat Uran, Yates,Dumoulin, G Martin, and Superman !!
