Well the difference with Forza Horizon is that it's being made by a totally different dev with a rather different direction to the mainline Forza series. Turn 10 are working on Forza 5 which will probably be released next year. Personally I don't see anything wrong with that, they're just utilising the brand recognition of the Forza name and as long as the main games aren't affected I think it should be alright.

As for Lionhead, well look at it this way. Prior to the MS purchase they created three new IPs, did something either unique in many areas and had varying sucess. I can see your point with Forza but I doubt Horizon will be that good it'll probably be more NFS The Run rather than Hot Pursuit. I loved Fable II but III was a huge dissapointment for me, now you couldn't pay me to buy Heroes or The Journey.

670ti is coming as soon as march! And that's going to be for sale, not just paper release. I wonder how will nvidia go with pricing. Currently we got some really nice fast Gpus, but their prices are a bit on high end too.

P.s. nvidia is not very good at sli scaling. I am prety sure the drivers are very raw and 3 cards are not uptised. I would imagine there is very small difference between 2 sli vs 3 sli in that's test.

Really? Last confirmed release date I had seen was April 12th. The GTX670 is the one I have my eye on too since it's the lowest tier GK110-based card being released this quarter.

Totally depends on the engine to be honest. Here's a bunch of benches which compare it with a range of other configs. Performance benefit can range to it being worse than the SLi setup to being 30% better than it.

I am in tough position myself. I it 350e to spend due to my birthday ( thank you misses shadowhearth!!! ), and me being a flipping geek it will go to pc!

Problem is: I got gtx 570 which is still very very beefy card. There is no point selling it and getting something like 7950 or 7970! So I am considering maybe second 570?

Though I really don't like where the new gpu pricing goes. For mid range they just replace current product with same product with same price. Basically you won't get better performance for same price currently . That's why 6 series went out of stock so quickly. There were no difference perfoamce per price between 6 and 7 series.

Well judging from some of the leaked specs so far the 670 comes in at around 20% more grunt than the 7970. Obviously we'll need to wait for some actual benches to confirm this but it's looking quite positive so far.

I read its around 10% which is still Impresive for so called mid to high card, but price will be bigger then 7970 - fact.

What I am saying: it's lovely cards, but you still get same performance for your euro. It's just you need way more euro for 1 card

Capcom just might be my most hated devs now. They have put out some attrociously greedy DLC lately and now they say Survival Horror is dead to justify the run and gun fest that Resi 6 is gonna be. Did they not see the reviews Raccoon City is getting? Are they judging it by the bad reviews Homecoming is getting? Or do they see COD getting a lot of money and want in on the action?

Survival Horror isn't dead, devs are just trying to make more money in more popular markets.

Just to add - its lovely how they decided how all of the world feels about games by just looking in to US market... It's just 1 fecking country... If they like it it does not mean that the rest of the world like it. You don't see NASCAR and cowboy hats in Europe...

THQ's financial worries continues as they lay off a load of people, which in turn forces them to change the upcoming Warhammer MMO Dark Millenium Online to a single player game (although most likely with heavy MP aspect like L4D or War In The North).

It's a pity, because I was quite looking forward to this. And I thought it might be the one thing to help THQ through their current troubles.

So, looks like Sega have lost a **** ton of money and are cancelling the development of some titles.

My money is on no Vanquish or Bayonetta sequels so.

EDIT: Course it depends on who owns the IP, them or Platinum. This needs to be investigated at lunch...

Not sure what he's talking about with the PC port though, sure it had GFWL and its integration was a little sketchy but I had zero problems with the game outside of that. On the contrary in fact, it's one of the few games which looked absolutely beautiful when on a decent system.

I was watching wrath of the titans last night and i kept praying for kratos to jump out and rip off everyones face in it. GOW4 would be nice but they've pretty much finished the story line as it is.

I ****ing loved the original on the PC (not so much the console sequel) so it'd be great to see another game in that vein if they can get the funding sorted.

Well there is skyrim a patch slated for later this month which will include Kinect voice controlls.Perhaps something to do with that?

They've already announced that, so i don't think so. Would love it to be Fallout 4, but will probably be Skyrim dlc...which is also fine by me

LOVE the setting, is it some sort of futuristic world war 1 style universe? reminds me fallout/bioshock in some way.

For anyone who hasn't played this yet, it's bloody great. Unfortunately it's also sold like total ass so far so hopefully the PC release generates some more sales for SEGA.

Seems like they have a chip on their shoulder about intellectual rights since they won their case against Interplay for the rights to Fallout Online and all fallout related material.

Bit harsh to demand the guys site as well removing the fanmade posters too. Fair play to yer man, he wont willingly give them his website and he has taken down his posters.
