Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There is no age limits here madam but there is a maturity quotant to be met - though it's difficult to see in this thread :D. The forum will look at day to day events from an older perspective in comparison to the rest of the Boards forums.
So, read the charter, pull up a stool and giggle at the conceits of the younger generations with the rest of us. :)

Ah thanks for the welcome, feels cosy in here(a place to run to when the rest of Boards becomes to much?). Tayto Chees and Onion - my favourites on a slice of white bread and butter. Btw I did the poll and I'm in the blue zone(correct term?). I usually go to the Donegal forum on my first visit of the day - guess this will be my second :)

    hi all

don't be fooled by the handy pancake mix..add milk and shake..
it was a disaster and all lumpy

2 pancakes out of it in the end..

    2 ffs

It is not my cooking skills because when i make my own pancakes they never stick to the pan, three ended up cremated on the pan..

as for number 4 & 5 yum yum with Nutella..

    sorry none for sharing :p

For those of ye who like to listen to a bit of music while you surf there is a radio show about to start (at 10 o'clock on http://live.liffeysoundfm.ie/ ) Click the link and turn up yer hearing aids. There are two reasons to listen tonight.
First is that it's a tribute show to two musicians - friends - who are no longer with us. Not that that means anything to ye but I thought I'd give a little background.
Secondly, the show is going to be mostly the music of Charlie Bird Parker.
Jazz at it's most sublime, soft. soothing, rich and inventive.

Go on, treat your ears to something beautiful.
EDIT: I take no responsibility for any shows you might hear before 10 o'clock or after midnight. Local radio is varied at best.

only discovered this forum last night, and have been doin' a little bit of lurking. I was in another forum earlier on this evening where a female poster was asking if anyone knew of any clubs she could join for over 45s. I wanted to direct her over here as she might get better responses, but thought she might think I was being cheeky :D

I say we should ban all mention of the unmentionables :D
