Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Arsenal the only side playing football here, far the superior side

Can't understand how even the most biased of fan could think Oscars dive was a penalty, it's embarrassing to read

A bank of 4 with a bank of 5 in front of it. What would you call that?

Arsenal really dominating now - hopefully today will see a victory for football rather than bus-parking/cheating

    Mourinhos outstanding tactics and knowledge.

I get your pain same last week as Chelsea "played" United their antics are embarrasing for Champions-in-waiting.

They haven't just sat back though. Yeah, they're very organised but they've got forward plenty of times. They're here to win and not just see out a nil all.

If it's still nil all with 15 minutes to go, they may well start parking the bus.

Good enjoyable half. Not much between the sides at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Ramires is just making up the numbers. That chance was the best of the half and he scuffed it.

    Good game so far.

Very good game. A top defence agaisn't a top attack.

So solid defending is not a part of football now? It's no wonder Arsenal have not won the league for ages it sort of important really.

Wonder what time the Chelsea sucker punch will come at?

Im goina go for the 77 minute.

Yeah it is. Chelsea started very strongly but Arsenal have grown into the game. Good watch for the neutrals as well.

Chelsea the better side here. 1 shot on target for arsenal and 3 penos not given for chelsea. Good game tho

Would be nice if Dwayne Dibly given a run instead of Ram soon, Ram is annoying and Dwayne is in desperate need of a game

Very interesting match, we've rode our luck defensively, ramirez should have scored and we easily could have conceded a penalty. Chelsea have impressed me.

Solid defending is, but so is attacking play. Focusing only on defence and strangling the life out of games will get criticism in much the same way attacking all out with no thought to defending will.

Willian's beeb really good. Didn't think much of him for a while but he's impressing me lately.

Well if you're going down that road, a penalty not given for Arsenal either

That isn't how Chelsea have approached the game though. They've had the better attacking passages.

Yeah, he's been our best player going forward and is defending well when needed. Is usually good in the big away games.
