    Nickelback ; Yay

    Wild Youth ; Yay

    Wandering Hearts ; Yay

All three of those are my nominations and sure I knew the tournament would be full of crusty gobsh*tes who don't know decent music when they hear it and why some god awful song is gonna end up winning this thing. Gloves are off now f**kers. ;)

    Rihanna ; Yay

Lily Allen ; Nay its dreadful

    Lady Gaga ; Nay
easily one of her worst songs

    Rubberbandits ; Yay
f**k it, usually I'd say no,but it appeals to my mood right now, and its the opposite of how the rest of you tools are voting... Yeehaw, giddyup.

    Bruce Springsteen ; Nay
he's an overrated gobsh*te, and Radio Nowhere is his only good song.

    Ghastly.

Whoever nominated those should be barred from future tournaments.

I ain't going anywhere you c*ckwomble, and for future tournament I'm going to purposely nominate thing in the hope to annoy you specifically (mainly just things that people who go to gigs enjoy ), which should be easy enough because you're dead inside and hate everything... ;)

I long to live in Levar's world where he had to listen to Shallow twice to figure out if he like it and it isn't imprinted on his brain from the sheer amount of radio plays and Facebook covers

I rarely listen to the radio anymore, they only play chart stuff which is in large part absolute drivel, and I assume a "Facebook cover" is similar to a YouTube cover in which people of varying degrees of musical talent improve upon or butcher a well known song, but don't know why I'd watch one of those if I don't know the song.

The song does sound vaguely familiar, so I assume I had heard it in the background at one point, but yeah I definitely never listened to it properly before.

No, everyone kept telling me how amazing it was and that I had to go see it, so I therefore had to do the exact opposite of that, because I hate being told what to do... :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,421 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

I've not seen that movie either, I'd be more inclined to watch the original or the the Judy Garland version, I prefer old movies

Me too. So much so, that I have no clue which movie they're talking about.

I haven't seen any of the previous reiterations of the film. I watched this one, I thought it was a good film, not amazing but very enjoyable.

Thanks though not really my thing. I'd probably watch:

    1 Judy Garland
    2 Streisand
    3 Janet Gaynor

    before Lady G.

See my earlier post about not listening to radio.

Stopped working in radio in early 2011, and thats also about the last time I've listened to radio. If I'm out and about I've got my headphones on, and the types of bars I go to don't exactly play the Top 40.

Sure these days Spotify recommends me 60 songs a week based on what I already listen to without me having to even press a button, throw YouTube recommendations in on top of that and you've more new music coming in than you know what to do with. When the music comes to you why anyone still listens to radio baffles me...

Same goes for TV actually - these "I'm just watching it because its on" people have me scratching my head. Between all the streaming services and TV packages, on demand, being able to record what you want, etc. and people still just watch whatever old sh*te is on RTE... I don't get it.
