Its good and correct to be cautious.

I downloaded the free version, have it running but not using it for browsing.

I will let it run for a week or so and then try and withdraw the accumulated funds.

I note where you point our that mining generally needs serious PC power, i had researched online that Bitcoin needs that, but Monero is different, that relies on CPU & Memory power over GPU power, and this product is actually mining Monero.

I agree, it is a multi level marketing platform to spread their browser as far as they can, the most important point though is you DO NOT have to pay anything at all, so its not users entry money being distributed where eventually the end users get shafted.

According to their site, there are 20 million users worldwide using this browser, there are 800 million internet connected devices in China alone, and 500 million in India, there is so much scope for this to spread, people to come on board, get what they want from it, and then possibly drop out with more people coming on over time.

The reality is the market is so big for this anyone jumping on for free cant really lose out with a little effort put in to creating a small mining network under them.

Even if you got into it, tried to create a network and it doesn't work out for you, the most you are going to lose is a few Euros in electricity by the time you decide its not for you.

Also, looking at the H/s second what i am achieving in return is about correct and to add it is available on both Apple and Android official app stores which means it has passed certain security checks for malicious wares.

As i said in my post, to download it for free, and have it running in the background without handing over any money is no loss. If you can onboard a few good users who in turn take it in their own direction, thats a benefit for everyone involved.

It does have a fee paying cloud boost mining option, but i have read in many places to steer well clear of offers of cloud mining.

My advice,

Download the free version, dont pay any fees, try and build your self a small network and if you can reap a small reward great.

I think it just as important to return with update as much posting referral links.

After leaving this running for 1 week, I don’t feel the return is there really, lot of energy for little come back.

I do think it does what it says if you have a large base of followers you can tap into, so could work for some people.

I will leave it run for another week as I have established a small network, but my thinking now is how transparent can the network be to me two or three levels down.

To be clear: this is an actual Ponzi; as in a textbook definition of a Ponzi scheme.

In other words you need to try and gauge the rate of deposits versus withdrawals and withdraw periodically to try and minimise your potential for losses.

In saying that there is some potential to make money also; but it is clearly very risky.
