The way i see it, each of these crypto's all fancy themselves as the next Bitcoin (or at least have some decent value), my intention is to gather them up and leave them sit in my wallet for time.

This one i found after going down a rabbit hole over the weekend.

With gas fees fluctuating so crazy the way they were last week, and that being driven by miners that verify the network transactions.

Upon digging deeper into what is actually entailed in mining, its really provision of your hardware to perform calculations measured in Hashes per second (H/s) which has an energy cost to it.

after looking up how to build a mining rig, I found that the main component nowadays has moved from CPU being what does the processing to GPU’s, as they are super efficient and have been developed increasingly over the years.

It then crossed my mind whether a PS3 or PS4 would be of use for mining as the GPU rendering in them is incredible, that’s appears it is possible with a jailbroken machine but not very far down the line and would need a certain knowledge of command line and programming the stage its currently at.

That led me to a website where someone had tried to use the web browser to mine Monero online, Only to find that the PS3 web browser would not engage with the site.

Then I looked at web browser mining and was amazed to find you can have your ordinary machine mine away for Monero which is then turned into BTC simply by installing this browser,

The speed of your machine hardware and internet connection will depend on what mining rate you can achieve, the return would need to be calculated once you have it up and running but its something that can run in the background while your working or online and be earning regardless.

An advantage I did not mentioned above, as it is mining Monero, that Crypto i have found through research uses CPU power over GPU power, which works out well if you haven’t got a gaming machine or are interested in investing in GPU’s to build a miner.
