Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You only need to set up the vpn via your mobile .
Install express vpn and sign up for trial.
Don't need vpn to watch content. Is the tv an android tv or web os tv? If web is then can't run tunnel bear on it.

you only need the VPN for subscribing. Do it on the phone. Once you are subscribed in the cheaper country then you just sign into you netflix apps are per normal on your other devices.

Slightly off topic - I just got an LG smart tv, is there a VPN that I can use on webOS?

If people are looking at the lifetime or trial subs to Getflix to watch Netflix just be aware of this bit.
US Netflix is supported on every device for 1, 3, 6, 12 and 24 month paid subscribers! Lifetime and trial accounts are supported on web browsers only. If you’re getting the proxy error please read below

Tunnel bear has fallen out of favour with some since they were bought by McAffe couple months ago... Linus and several other YouTubers have cut all ties with them over it. Don’t use either but just passing on the info.

No need for groups anymore. You can get 4k premium and 4 devices for 7 euro going through the Argentina vpn. Basic for less than 3 euro and around 5 euro for standard. Why would u bother with a group?

I’m only using 1 screen and have 4k premium for €30 a year in a family, wouldn’t make sense to pay €84
Netflix family is great and unlike real families we never argue lol

    Hi All,

    Just want to clarify.

So if I let cancel my current Irish account at the end my current bill cycle, can I sign up via another country and have the same username/password? Or do I need to setup a fresh account with new email etc.?

    Thanks

You can sign up with same. As though you moved country and your subscription ended while you were there.

Had the Nord trial used it to get Deezer premium for under €2 a month through the Turkish site (same method as posted for Netflix) but Netflix won't work in Turkey keeps reverting to .com and US prices

Yeah, unfortunately NordVPN seem to have been one of the VPNs in Netflix's line of sight. They have workarounds when their servers are detected, and they are usually quick enough to change them also.
    https://support.nordvpn.com/#/General-info/SmartPlay/1047407532/How-to-securely-watch-Netflix-with-NordVPN.htm

This is an outright paid advert for Express VPN, but a semi decent insight into how Netflix operate.
    https://pixelprivacy.com/vpn/streaming/netflix/nordvpn/

ExpressVPN are very good (Virgin Islands) if not the best (not in 5 or 9 eyes etc.) - definitely in top 5, repeatedly.
But I find NordVPN very good for the price, they can compete against the best.

You would be better off signing up on a computer, tablet or phones
There are region settings and WiFi settings on the tv that will show your location
You will also need to restart the app totally before signing in with the new account
There is a step by step guide in the thread a few pages back

If you want to keep the same e-mail, wish and watch lists etc. you have to cancel your membership and wait until the current billing period expires and then use Hola to log into your new country

Did you have to wait for your Irish account to lapse before signing up again?

Changing the DNS to their Turkey based DNS doesn't actually give you access to Turkish Netfllx. You have too change your Netflix region in your Getflix account (and only US and your local one have been available for the past year or so)

If you just want Turkey for the cheaper subs, use Hola or whatever during the signing up process and you're fine after that.
