Series 2 is starting on VM1 and ITV (with Dr. Ken gone) on St. Stephen's Day

It's a weird celeb reality singing show but some surprising high calibre celeb talent on the US series

Alien is 100% Sophie Ellis Bextor. The talking-singing voice gives it away.

Mel B, they seemed to have upped the celeb music calibre acts for this season

    Sausage is Sheridan Smith.
One of the judges guessed it.

    Jono clocked it.

    Ms

Martine McCutcheon was the Oustrich. Well done to whoever guessed that and Jonathan Ross too.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

They seem much better this year on the guesses or at least the producers are showing more of their correct answers.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor was saying 3 of them knew it was her but they only showed one on the broadcast.

Martine did very well to cover her voice when talking, we were convinced it was Michelle Visage.

Ha, I actually meant Glenn Hoddle, I’d be explaining to the wife that he released a single with Chris Waddle! Damn it!

Tonight is my first night watching this.

The minute Blob started singing I immediately thought of Lenny Henry. I'm pretty sure he once sang on one of the Live At The Apollo shows.

Had no idea who Bush baby was so was quite surprised :)

    I’m loving it though :)

I think the Robin is either Niall Horan or Danny O'Donoghue and Harlequin is Emile Sande.

    I agree. I thought I recognised his voice. He's a good singer.

Are ye saying Walliams mainly because Jonathan Ross said it?

I'll be amazed if it's not Lenny Henry.
I'm almost certain it's his voice.
On the "blobs got talent" clue they gave; Lenny Henry became famous when he won a talent show called New Faces.

I think the Robin is Aston Merrigold from JLS :)

    Yeah, I agree on this.
Thought it might be the other fella that isn't Marvin Hume or the lad with the speed line in his head, as he did a CBeebies bed time story the other night. The Mrs pointed out Robin s a bit skinner so we settled on Aston.

Jonathan Ross nailed the Bushbaby guess last week, I'd say he'd be disgusted he went away from it.

I think I've inadvertantly solved Viking.
I thought it was a great rendition and went searching for other, acoustic versions of Take On Me.

The blob is either Lenny Henry or David Walliams doing an impression of Lenny Henry and his characters from early TV shows. Not sure what the BGT and Matt Lucas reference is for, but the voice is 100% Lenny.

Ah ya Morten Harket does a beautiful acoustic rendition of the song..but that would be a bit too obvious??

Think its gabrielle...especially since a harlequin wears a mask..and she always had an eye patch? But the voice does sound like hers

I’m convinced it’s Lenny Henry. I think there was also a hotel reference which could be the ads for Premier Inn. I’m loving this show - it’s really got me obsessed.

It was the cleaning thing that made me think of Anthea Turner - she had a cleaning programme a few years ago.
