Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone got theirs yet? I wonder how long delivery will take from China. Some stuff I have bought in the past has been here in days but other times it can take a lot longer

ordered one from Black Knight link. Maybe more expensive than other ones, but I want to get the best version (#3), and this one looks like one.

    I will update when received

Read the whole thread, I'm pretty confident the seller in the link I posted in the first post only sells #3.

This is the one I bought, from what I can tell it's #3 but not sure

Meh. Twas cheaper then the OPs one, and for the sake of a few pence, id prefer to not have to trawl through all the posts.

got this a few weeks ago, well worth a tenner

Is the recording time(due to memory, not battery) relatively low. I think I saw the op saying 10 mins for 850mb.
So you get around 12 minutes per gig of memory, anyone else tested the recording time/memory usage.

I told myself I wouldn't bother getting this but every time it pops back up to the top of the front page I get more tempted :)

Ok after reading Chucks site I see he has that answered already :)

    1 Hour of video = 3 - 4.5 gigs
    1 minute = 50 - 78 megs

    That's for version 3

    Hmmm...whether to buy :)

EDIT: Bought...well another probably pointless BA and half a day wasted researching it :)

Couldnt resist so I bought one of these and one of the HD ones. Be interesting to see if theres any actual difference in them :D

Really doubt it was any sort of virus, sometimes anti virus scanners mistake memory key software for a virus and flag them as containing trojans.

Yea id agree, they pick out lots that are harmless,

A 'Bazaar' below where McGivney's Opticians used to be, on the corner of Henry Street and Moore Street (Dublin). They had the 808 Fob in the window, clearly the same model, with the instructions identical to the eBay ones.

I asked for a price, out of curiosity.
    €250

    :)

Yes. Amusingly, the person told me it was, '..a camera for spies'.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,495 ✭✭✭Abelloid

Crazy. At that price you'd do a little homework first, for €50 it could be an impulse buy and they'd probably sell a lot more making a nice profit too.

If you mean ebay, no it doesn't. You can however transfer the required amount to your paypal account and then pay for it that way. Money transfer usuallt takes 2-3 working days.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,780 ✭✭✭JohnK

How long is it taking for people to actually get them? I know it says to allow for about 20 or 30 days but I dont want to wait that long :D

The one in the first link yah?is that what everyone has gone for?
Wheres the cheapest 4bg card available?

Jus went with a 2GB card myself (which arrived today, so hopefully the camera will be here sometime soon!).

    This is what I went with;

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250595505723&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Can't really see any reason for any more than 2GB, which is estimated at just over 20 minutes.

I'll only be using it spur of the moment though. If I know someone's gonna fall over or some such situations. I don't see myself ever going over 5minutes recording time.

I you're gonna be cycling/driving/etc. and want to record your journey, then you'd probably need a bit more memory, but at the same time, if you record an hour of cycling... are you really going to sit down and watch it all back afterwards?

They're just my own thoughts on it, anyway. Like, I'd imagine, many in here, I don't have any reason or purpose to own one. I just want it!

Ours arrived today, the seller Basquille posted... Small enough to fit through the letterbox (watch out, neighbours), pretty snazzy quality, I have to say. I'm impressed.. Tested in a dark living room. Will post up a test video in a few mins.

    lol, cute little gadget,
anyone know if its posible to lower the recording res to make the file size smaller?
    like if i bought a 1280p it would fill up a 2gig card quicker than a 720p ?

I can't get it to be embedded because it just won't work, so a link will have to do ya.

Here it is, my uber exciting back garden! Don't say I didn't warn you :)

I don't think it's possible to change the quality, there is zero interface on it. Two buttons, power on/off and record/stop/photo. The photos aren't great, but that's what my camera is for :)

I now pass the time while waiting for it to arrive imagining all the adventures I'll have with it..

    Me: I'd like a raise
    Boss: Go away
Me: Oh really, well what would your WIFE think of this video of you in a lapdance club?
    Boss: 25 percent ok?
