Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    A lot of deaths on the roads last night,
    Of course I don't know the cause of the crashes but the roads were very slippy last night.
    The downside of having frosty conditions.

    We're getting more of an Atlantic type weather-flow this year due to a very strong W/E jet stream, which is blocking the ingress of the beautifully cold and crisp cooler air to our north.

    (This is a guess..the more learned here will correct me I'm sure :))

    I don't think they would, since you are pretty much spot on.
