Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As yesterday, but minus the drizzle. There was about fifteen minutes of sun from 4.20pm, timed nicely for my stop at the beach.

Tides seemed unusually high, even for a full moon.

Another fine day in Wicklow-warm for the time of year too.

I've decided to thrawl through the posts on a two monthly basis, starting with September - October to pick out the dullest and sunniest spots as reported here.

But from a cursory glance *Donegal!* appears to be way out in front at the moment in terms of Dullness, dampness and Dour weather.

    Donegal:-

Seems much milder today. Still grey and overcast with a touch of damp in the air, but I am not complaining.

The results are coinciding with the bi monthly vat returns, so it's going to be September/Oct, then November/Dec, Jan/Feb etc... :D

    If you are sunny today though, your crown is looking safer{ although a late rally from sunbeam might ...}

South wicklow today-Dull, heavy cloud but Dry and mild.

/please note I'm not charging VAT on the weather... :p

Hmm, maybe I need a girlier avatar....

Two more gloriously sunny days, though it's getting gradually colder. For the past three it has clouded over at around 5pm and today was noticeably more windy.

Still a lot of bees/wasps around for the time of year.

    Cloudy with sunny spells.

Brightened up at sunset, which is effectively half an hour before it should be as the sun sinks below the mountains. /me shudders at the prospect of the clocks going back. :(

Clear and cold now with a rising last quarter moon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,814 ✭✭✭sunbeam

Beautiful day, sunny and windy. Pleasantly warm in sheltered spots.

Unlike yesterday there are a few wisps of cloud about. The moon was visible until it set a short while ago.

    Cold! Cold! Cold!

After a sunny start, it had now clouded over from the North.
There is a near Gale NorthEasterly blowing in off the Irish sea, which in my mothers Cork accent would Skin the Danes!!
