Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jesus. Comical defending but a lovely long pass from the wba keeper gets pereira in behind to lob the keeper. Wow.

Haha ffs soon as I get a Chelsea defender in! Watch Stones roll in the points now haha.

    WBA with a deserved goal.

Pereira goal and GK Johnstone assist.

Now WBA have hit the crossbar.

I thought if you played from 30-90 it would count as 60 mins played and a clean sheet also?
    Has that never happened before?

He came on after 30 though

It has, and he would have if he’d come on in the 29th minute, but it was the 32nd so wouldn’t play the required 60.

    Pereira goal.

    1-2 now

    Periera goal

Sold him last night, couldn't have done that in one of his good fixtures.of course.

    i feel your pain

It has but Christiansen came on at 33 minutes, need to be on before 30.

Chelsea gone asleep. Disaster. We’ll see mount now anyway. 2-1 wba

A brace now, gotta see the funny side!

Maybe Tuchel will stopped the rotation. Alonso is an awful defender, despite attacking points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,816 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Sigh, finally sold Pereira last night after failing to score in all those games that were better suited for West Brom and now he goes and scores 2.

    Love having the season back

No assist. I think Pereira assisted himself.

Chelsea players are listening to the Benny Hill music, in tiny little EarPods, from what I can see.

They have been comical in their own defensive third.

the only consolation is, I resisted the Chelsea defensive double up.

Not sure why Alonso is being mentioned here. He had no part in the red card nor either goal tbh. He’s played fine.

Okay so they don't take injury time into consideration either. Like if he played 60 mins between 33rd and 93rd. Good to know.

    Academic now anyway.

    That’s never a red card.

    Definitely not a red card

    It is.

    It was a second yellow.

His first yellow should have been a straight red imo.

Bad start to the GW, Havertz on bench and Mendy in goals

Didn’t see the first but the striker takes a step after striking the ball and runs into the attempted block. They need to change this habit of yellows for attempting to block shots where strikers momentum takes them into the defender. Not every touch is a foul.

    Mount on for Pulisic

  • Registered Users Posts: 925 ✭✭✭JPup

Rudiger owners gone from cursing their luck to counting their blessings in less than 20 minutes there!

WBA have changed the way they were playing.

That can usually be a foolish move.

    Alonso just hit the post.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,304 ✭✭✭munster87

Alonso hitting the post twice is annoying

That Alonso shot that just hit the post was going in but the defender on the line got a foot on it to deflect it away.

Just on this too - He’s a wing-back. His defensive expectations would be minimal anyway.

WBA worked it into the box and Mendy pulled off a good save from Pereira.

    Diagne 4-1

    Holy shït!

A lot of people brought in a Chelsea defender this GW.

And the wildcarders were talking about doubling and trebling up next week.

This result will shake a few nerves.

I saw earlier Mark McGettigan/FPL General played his wc and tripled up on Chelsea defence. This will hurt.

Why? 45 mins 4-1 down and he's got us a return. Win in my eyes.

    Mount goal from Werner pass.

If Werner had any ability he would have scored himself for an Alonso assist.
