Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mount goal. Still sorry I brought him in for Bale this morning.
    Werner assist.

    You expect more from Bale?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,164 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

    Diagne 4-1

    Pereira assisted it.

Mount owners getting something back from him being benched and a 4-2 losing scoreline.

Would love another attacking return from my captain Alonso.

It’ll be his last game for me anyway as I’m using WC next week.

Given this game, anything could happen this GW.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,778 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

Not watching the game but sounds like the West Brom lads are taking their chances today - in other games they created chances but just didn't take them whether cause of luck or lack of confidence, think they were also playing two games down to 10 men which didn't help their cause.

Maybe the time for Chelsea defenders was the last 6 GW's, like the time for City defenders has probably passed with rotation issues etc.
United for instance could turn out to be the team that should double up on defenders with, or dare i say it Liverpool - great run of fixtures coming up and TAA for instance needs to get himself back in the England squad

Zouma really should have scored there at the back post.

That was a bad bad miss

There will be more goals here.

    Mount!!!!!

Can't believe he got a goal in the end.

    Lol.

Haha. A second yellow for silva for far less of a foul than that shove on Werner. Officials are ridiculous this season.

    Gwan the Mount

Was reasonably close to unleashing my BB this week....would have likely involved Azpi and Mendy in for a hit and guaranteed 12 points

Went with Alonso instead for the craic so that seems to have paid off I guess.

Chelsea have conceded 7 goals (so far) against West Brom this season

Alonso very lucky to escape a yellow there.

5-2, who would have said that this morning!

That couldn't have gone much as a Mount and Rudiger owner.

Scoring against Chelsea is easy for him. Luxembourg, that’s a different matter

Robinson scored two goals in the reverse fixture earlier in the season as well - madness

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,304 ✭✭✭munster87

I’m ok with Alonso getting 3 points

Same....it's 3 more than Azpi, Mendy etc.

Feels like there was a haul there though if Silva didn't get sent off

Didn't have a Chelsea player all season until I brought Mendy and Azpi in on WC this week. Typical of this season.

Can't believe that result. Was out cycling kept checking my phone every few mins thinking wtf.

How do team so solid at back over last few weeks let in 5 against West Brom!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,787 ✭✭✭Benimar

So my Chelsea player who started gets 6 points less than my ML rivals Chelsea player who didn’t.

    Standard!

West Brom attacking wise haven't been that bad though - just haven't taken a lot of their chances and had bad luck playing with 10 men for two games, and defensively they have been poor.

Chelsea today were 1-0 up when they went down to 10 men - and then it fell apart.

Would i be double up with Chelsea defensive players - probably not - but not just cause of the result today - their fixtures aren't great, compared to say Liverpool who are chasing the same prize of top 4.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,149 ✭✭✭Xander10

My instinct was to bank, but brought in Azpa to avoid losing ground. Oh well, at least we all appear to be in the same boat.

Hoping for another goal feast now, but not from the team in the relegation position.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,688 ✭✭✭✭Muahahaha

fcuks just in the door from a spin on the motorbike to see that result, sounds like it was a mad game. The one week I sell Martinez and buy Mendy and that happens. At least Mount scored and Rudiger didnt start. But as a Chelsea triple owner now the strategy looks in a mess after that.

Just saw there on Sky Sports News, Robinson has 5 goals in 3 games against Chelsea and 0 goals in 39 games against every other PL opponent!

He's also the first player in Premier League history to score at least twice in home and away games against Chelsea within a single season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,654 ✭✭✭DJIMI TRARORE

Pereira, guess who dropped him to 3rd sub, never gonna start him v unbeaten Chelsea, he's a decent player

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,714 ✭✭✭Cartman78

Just noticed there that the #1 OR is an Irish fella....12th season playing and 75K highest finish

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,164 ✭✭✭✭Scorpion Sting

    Harrison (Raphinha)

Honestly, Raphinha would be in my team if he was 8m.

Sold Pereira, was going to get Raphinha, but instead got Lingard - we know how this will end :pac:

Leeds can be so frustrating. For all the endeavour, the points return is often lacking

yeah owning Dallas in the hope of attacking returns gets old after a while when they rarely keep clean sheets. But otherwise for their price they deliver

    Jagielka own goal, Harrison assist.
