In saying that the Hurlers are a Full and Centre Back from being best team in Country

And a few quality impact subs from the bench.

Just my two cents about Cork GAA (for some weird reason in the Cork GAA forum!:D)

I have zero confidence in the senior football team. They seem to have a terrible result then talk about how this can't happen again and then put in a farily decent shift in the next game maybe beating somebody in a close game and then the game after that it falls apart again. Then we go back to saying it can't happen again and we rinse and repeat.

Until they step up and put performances in every week my confidence in them will stay very low. Of course I will always support them but they need to step it up.

As for the hurlers I am probably the opposite way. I have a lot of confidence in them. We just need some more impact subs from the bench just like Amprodude says and we will be there in the mix again.I will give any recalled players a chance like Aidan Walsh etc. I think he can be a good asset but I want to see him and the others busting a gut to get in the championship team. I did say impact subs but I mean players wanting to show why they should start the following week not just I will try to give you a good 20 mins kind of thing. Especially the guys being looked at again. Pulling on the Cork jersey is a privilege and something that If I was given a chance I wouldn't stop running at least! That's the very least we should see.

Reminds me of what my Dad used to say

"When I was younger, I could run but couldn't play but now I am older, I can play but can't run!" :D (Though he was being modest he played for Kilkenny at minor level!)

Very dissappointed by this - https://www.rte.ie/news/munster/2019/0121/1024554-ashling-thompson/

I had heard about it during the weekend about the case but didn't know who the person involved was but not surprised by it to be honest. Still not a good look for Cork GAA

From what I know, the GAA offered the girl 30k and she refused it. Ugly stuff from them there....

This was discussed here before, we all knew this case was coming. Let the law take its course before any more comment.
