Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That's very borderline stuff at the moment though. Right now it looks more like sleet or wet rain, but it could swing either way.

Now 3.2c and dewpoint of 1.1c - bring on the precip! (south Laois)

Anyone able to comment on the prospect of snow in south Cavan about 100 above sea level.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20 aonchraic

Can anyone hazard a guess as to why Galway is not included in any warning? Left out accidentally or is it likely we wont see much shower activity?

Well if it doesn't snow in knock the rest of us have no chance? When is the colder air expected to be down over all the country? Looks to be plenty showers for Munster despite the forecast this morning.

    Galway missing is an error.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,230 ✭✭✭✭JCX BXC

Nice short but heavy hail shower gave the place a nice covering here in West Clare.

Nothing much new in the 5pm TAF's, sleet still only for DUB/ORK/SNN, Knock has exclusively snow until 4pm tomorrow.

Snowing in North Cavan. Not wet really fluffy snow.

Nearly every county in Ireland is mentioned in the warning except Tipperary. I beginning to think the snow gods have forgotten about us here in Tipp. Temperatures have really dropped here now so a covering of hard frost looks on the cards for tomorrow morning.

Dew point at 1.1 at Dublin airport and the temperatures falling, some showers heading this way, could be a bit of sleet around Dublin in the next while... And then this fourm will go into meltdown! If so see you all on the other side :D

Means nothing, Meteoalarm don't do it by county, so they just apply the highest alert for any county in the province to all that province.

Some hail here just outside Newport, Mayo. Seen a flash of lightning on the way home, looked to be over the Westport area.
Nothing major yet anyway, just another winters day.
