Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Want to make a DIY panel saw. Linear bearing advice

I always wanted a panel saw and I've decided now is the time to build one. I'm going all out and putting electric clamps, digital gauges etc.. I'm trying to source linear bearing rails that don't cost the earth. I can get some about 1800-2000mm (for the vertical) but its the dust that I am concerned about.

I had my eye on these but I think the dust might cause issues and block the bearings. It would be an expensive gamble.

Has anyone used this in little CNC's or dusty environments?

On a side note, anyone built one before or got tips?

    Thanks
