    I'm interested in doing an online nutrition course.

    Does anyone know what good ones are out there?

    You'll find some very good free courses on EdX or Coursera.

    I was looking at Precision Nutrition and the IINH Nutrition Course.

    Someone more knowledgeable in the field might be able to advise you on those. If it's for professional reasons, just make sure the cert at the end is actually worth something.

    I've heard that the Precision Nutrition and Mac Nutrition ones are good.

    However I'd suggest considering that most clients don't care/know the difference between all the different certs out there, unless it's a masters or PHd.

    I'd sooner invest in a few good scientific textbooks.

    The open university has a course on nutrition :)

    Its very very basic (maybe not what you are looking for?) but its free!

    Its only 24 hrs.

    Although I can't vouch for it I haven't done it myself.

    This is very true as Cill94 put it.

    I have been through both.

    They are phenomenal in what they teach but first world experience goes hand in hand.

    Don't forget that most text books in the nutrition field are going to be slightly outdated. So keep an eye on new research as well.

    Keep questioning everyday things you hear and find studies to back them up will go along way in helping you with Nutrition.

    Exercise Physiology - Nutrition, Energy and Human Performance
    Advanced Nutrition and Human Metabolism -7th Ed - This is a Heavier hitter but it does wonders for the intricate details.

    The biggest thing is just to get into it and start looking to improve from there.

    Get the most recent edition of it. I think its the 7th edition. Whatever the most recent edition is it's up to date.

    You can get the 7th edition on Amazon UK for £60 which is where I got it

    Amazon probably. I got it last year for a course i did. I checked mine is actually the 8th edition.

    Its been out a while so i would say ebay amazon have mostly latest editions.
