Probably not as part of the stadium tour although Semple Stadium here in Thurles would be a superb venue for them.

I can see them probably doing Download and more festivals next summer. Hopefully they could fit in a 3Arena show or maybe an outdoor show?

The RDS would be the right place for them during the summer. Either there or Marlay Park. I'd like to see an outdoor gig since they've already played the 3Arena or the O2 as it was at the time....feels like last week

I regret not getting tickets for the last gig and they are on the bucket list to see live.

Nope, I actually found out since that on the special edition the band members photos are part of the packaging and there’s a 20 something page booklet.

Lyrics for Puppe have been released. In this instance, Puppe means doll but generally means puppet too. Zeig Dich lyrics also released, I'll try getting to this translation later on.

Another track along the lines of Spiel Mit Mir dealing with incest with a little hint to Zerstören with regard to pulling a doll's head off ("Und jetzt den Königsdisziplin, ein kopfchen von der puppe ziehen")

My translation:

This is the first time Till has used Latin in a Rammstein song (if anyone has a better grasp of Latin please let me know).

Given that Latin appears and there's a strong religious influence I'm expecting the video they did with the nuns to be the one for this song.

The deluxe CD and vinyl together work out at just under €50 including delivery and Irish VAT. It's €63 for the same bundle from the official site, and almost the same price from Amazon UK. According to Keepa, Amazon France is currently cheapest for both items individually, too.

lol, there's a ridiculous amount of serious nudity on youtube. If it comes under art/educational etc it seems to get a pass. There's even those nude dating shows etc etc.

There's a very strong historical theme running through the singles released already with a bit of the present/future in them i.e. Most of Deutschland is the past except for the astronauts and in Radio it's about the GDR's control of the airwaves in the past and the hologram idea is the present.

Not a fan and couldn't say I know them well, but watched the video because it was largely criticized I can tell you what I think they are artists and what they create is how an artist see reality and transform reality through his own vision, it can be extrageratet or shocking or both, what I see and hear in that song I believe it is their image of reality how they see and understand it and I think it was pretty honest image and they as artists have my respect for that.

Because the management are incredibly careful and doing so would result in a lawsuit.

Remember www.herzeleid.com? It was one of the first and best fan sites going but Jeremy lost interest when the management threatened to sue him over the song Liebe ist fur Alle Da appearing on his forums. It had nothing to do with him apart from his ownership of the forum.

Any reason why this CD is priced so dearly compared to other CDs? (I know, who buys CDs anymore? I do because I'm old!)

Any CD I've bought recently has been around the €13-15 mark but on their website Golden Discs have it priced at €22 and Tower Records at €23. Amazon's price is currently £21. Even at Rammstein's own store it's €17. And this is for the standard edition. The deluxe is a few quid more in all cases.

The vinyl is even worse close to E30.00 before delivery, I have gotten far nicer color double records and gatefolds for E10 less.

That’s not the point though. This CD seems to be more expensive than a standard new release CD everywhere so it’s not like one retailer has a high markup.

Have listened to it a couple of times. Overall I think it's pretty decent, although it tails off a bit towards the end. Weit Weg is a bit of a stinker for me (kind of irritates me that I know they included this over Ramm4 which would have been far better), and Tattoo not massively ahead of it. At times it's a little more pop rock than they've previously been, and the synth is a little too much at the forefront for me in places. Fairly happy with it though.

Apart from a few tracks, a lot if sounds like it could be an Emigrate album with Till singing.

I did think it was a bit odd they released the video for the making of "stripped" on to youtube recently, but in light of the content of the Radio/Deutschland videos it does make a lot of sense.

Starts off strong with the first 5 songs. Bit of a slump in tempo with the middle 3 - Puppe, Was Ich Liebe and Diamant and then romps home with the final three.

Their best album, probably not. Better than almost everything else released this year, yes!
