Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Extra places by the day of the race markets

    Link

Whats this about. There is a problem, telling people 5 hours before the race that there is an extra place available at the same price if they havnt backed it, and bet365 allow full cashouts.

Aftertiming a supposed full cash out & reinvestment to get the extra place terms vs what was originally advised. No doubt if he'd finished 4th it'd go in the P&L

No idea if you did or didn't (bet lost anyhow) but it's aftertiming

Im afraid your wrong there. I just mentioned what i got 5 hours before the race (to help anyone else who had the bet with 365) . The clue is in the title After - timing. Not Before-Timing

I imagine thats useful information , so why wouldnt i post helpful information , when there is pleny of time to act..

    Disagree

Same as if a horse shortens massively. Someone comes on crowing that they got the bigger price

Person places bet ante post (possibly NRNB to be fair) 3 places. 4 places become available on the day. Same person posts that they cashed out at full value (despite the price not moving) and says they're now on 4 places. Same thing in my book

    Complete bollox.
How can it be AFTER timing if done before the race when everyone has the chance to do the same.

Only thing is im just giving out tips and information for the laugh, im not charging for it. In that case, im just pointing out the right thing to do if possible from those that followed.

Cheltenham is full or opertunities and pointing 1 more out is certainly better than not pointing it out.

Had the Bell Heather / Reflektor double yesterday before MH put them up.
Was going to cash out at full value and place bet with another bookies at much bigger odds until Fanny **** had me questioning my morals.

    Now this is aftertiming:
Fwiw, I don't think Tiger Roll will win. (And this is from someone who had 110.00 on him at Cheltenham, basically my max bet for horse racing)

I had Labaik @ 33/1 when he won the supreme a couple of years ago. I duly collected €200+. I also had him backed NRNB in another Cheltenham race that he was entered in and went with my docket to collect my €5 e/w back.
Lo and behold the clerk handed me out €200+ !
I was amazed as I thought the cashier would have had to scan the docket or whatever.

You could be right . When I used to keep stats i went 3 years with no looser under 4/1. It was only about 15 selections though.

    - assume average price of evs => 32,767/1

    - assume average price of 2/1 => 14m/1

Can I have Saturday's Euro millions numbers please?

I'll stick myself in the aftertime thread for this but with another poster on her (I'll not name - wouldn't be fair) we've often been able to predict which no hoper he'll tip in advance of a big race day.

Of course it is €1 on each selection is quite a way from a €1 accumulator in a three year period. You were calculating huge odds and prattling on about the lotto

It was the after timing of backing 15 winners in a row that was mentioned but I think that has been forgotten in the recent replies, anyway ....

All i meant there was that over a 3 years period and over a 1000 selections, i only picked 14-15 4/1 or less shots and they all won. ( the vast majority of mine at over 25/1. So i only picked those at a rate of 1 every 3 months or so.
