Lots of good deals in Midleton today.

24x cans of Bud for €28. Don't normally drink the stuff, but..

    4 x Mars Bars for €1 (bought 4 packs).

8 x cans of Coke for €3.50 (bought 3 packs)

Lots of shower gels/mouthwash/handwash/toothbrush for 1/2 price. Stocked up there!

Then went to Aldi for my weekly shopping. :)

12 cokes for €3.75 until today in Tesco as far as I remember??

The "Crazy Prices" advert they ran this week stated 12 cans for €3.75. Wednesday - Sunday. I'd imagine there's probably small text such as while stocks last tho.

Not the most remarkable bargain in the world- but Tesco Finest Ginger Ale- 4 can pack for 1.99 (its probably the tastiest ginger ale I've had in a long long time).

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,398 ✭✭✭dfbemt

Got some Diet Coke 12 can packs in Artane Castle earlier today.

Small print says 3 packs per customer, I bought 8 packs no problem

Should do us until Christmas !!

Fair amount left on shelves. Lots of Coke zero 12 can packs to be seen

Tesco Cloudy Lemonade this is also yum (1.99 for 4 cans)

Thanks for the tip - I must try the ginger ale.

Surely the half price is by weight? IE the block of cheese is not necessarily that weight?

Tesco often comes with different offers claiming it's the best offer ever .. and often it's not, but those crazy prices are pretty good.
Looking forward to whats coming next week.

Was in Clonmel today and all grapes were reduced (and horrible looking) as I assume new stock is coming tomorrow with sticket 2for5.50 ..

Best way is to get those offers on Wednesday and on Sunday stock is very limited.

Anybody see these in Clonmel or around these parts? We don't seem to have many of the gardening bargains that other stores do

    So 9.5 for two!!

Amazon is selling for 19 pounds each:

For the coffee lover. I can recommend these as I used the same one for 3 years ,twice daily until I upgraded not long ago.

    Reduced from 160 to 65

I think these were sent here by mistake as you cant buy the discs down here. I used ebay and amazon to order discs . Or when passing tesco in the north.

    Bargain.

Tesco have promoted these in their larger stores several times over the past 2 years- and had sampling Saturdays in Naas and Maynooth as recent as last March. You can buy the capsules in Tesco (they're out of stock a lot of the time) and Currys (who also sell the full Tassimo range of machines in their larger stores).

The Bosch machine was E99 at Christmas- not sure when it was 165. Its a good bargain- but if you're using the 165 price as a yardstick- don't.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,387 ✭✭✭brokenarms

Wow. I work there and did not know that. If you did see the disc's on sale I assure you it was a rarity. The Tassimo was not on sale last christmas for sure Tesco ROI don't stock the things and where pushing the Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee maker and coffee instead.
Maybe you are getting the two mixed up. The Tassimo is a better machine by miles. I had both.

Dunno about prices but I noticed the other day that Mahon is still packed with them. Over by the drinks isle I think, not too familiar with that Tesco :P
