I texted my gf earlier asking what she was doing. She replied that she staying overnight in her gay friend’s house. She wasn’t even going to tell me until I contacted her. She said not to worry that they’ll be sleeping in different rooms. She also said he’s never had a boyfriend but once had a girlfriend until he realised he’s gay. Am I right to be angry or is this all normal behaviour for the female gender?

I'd be more concerned that she might come back riddled with Covid19.

What about the global pandemic that’s going on?
Does social distancing not mean anything to her?

Probably a personal issues thread, but seriously you should be angry.......Id report her to the guards! Shes not meant to be visiting other homes.

Maybe she once thought she was a slave but then tried it and realised she wasn't

Act like that and she'd be right to look elsewhere!

My GF would have nights out with her female friends and her male gay friends.

She would often stay over in their houses.

She doesn’t need my permission or pre approval. We trust each other and she has nothing to hide. I think most couples don’t have to ask the other half permission to sleep over at a friends house.

I’ve been working 55 hours a week for the past month. I don’t have time to be day dreaming.

    What about trust?

She cheated on me in the past

Can't blame her for wanting a night away from you OP. You sound like a paranoid control freak.

And you're still with her... why? You're simply setting yourself up for insecurity, paranoia and jealousy. Which is evident by being suspicious of a supposed gay guy. If you trusted her, this wouldn't be an issue. Which means, you don't trust her, so why continue the relationship?

    Masochism in practice.

You don't own her. And if you think you do, you've already lost her.

So, she doesn't respect you, and you don't respect her.

Ah, so you're only with her for the ride. Perhaps the "gay" lad gives her something you can't; intimacy.
