Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In other words he lied to the newspaper to steal some miserable €10 vouchers from them. Some people have no shame.

Pity that, in general people like you that do this are frowned upon in Bargain Alerts, it's against the spirit of it.

But look, well done you, hope you feel good about it, that's the main thing.

This must be the best value that Bulmers has ever been, 83 cents a can.

Or just over 1.05 for a pint, there's a long summer there!

    €0.66 with a Dunnes voucher,altough you have to buy 5 cases....how bad ;)

Sadly I don't think Supervalu take Dunnes vouchers.

I was surprised a couple of weeks ago to see a notice in Supervalu, The Pavillions, Swords saying they accepted Dunnes vouchers.

There is a Dunnes in the same centre. Also the Supervalu is Musgrave owned (not a franchise).

Often there's deals there too in Dunnes that are not in any other branch, think they all try to put pressure on each other and then Tesco are moved in nearbye to spice it up even more.

    Great whiskey.

Litre is cheaper than the 750ml at that price

    This offer extended until Sunday.

Was this a nationwide offer does anyone know ?
Heading to SuperValu later and the boot is empty and if the offer is nationwide the wife and kids may have to be sacrificed to make more room in the motor

Yes, it's on the website. With the good weather it's likely to be sold out in lots of places.

Yep, I've availed of it in two different counties anyway.

Bring the strongest kids and they should be able to carry a couple of boxes on the walk back home.

Picked this up for €10 in Aldi in Cork (Elysian) yesterday, seems like great value!

Yeah, they have been around a while.
Think they were €18 here, but I couldn't find the Irish page
Worth checking any local Aldi, I happened to be looking at them, but they had no price on the shelf, the security guard noticed me looking and told me they were a tenner (thanks!) so I thought it would be rude to leave it at that price :D

€14 for 8 cans 500ml is about the best around Tesco & SuperValu.

I took a cycle there (Elysian) after work yesterday & snagged the last two! Had the same experience with the security guard as well :)

That's two xmas presents sorted out anyway, can start too early!

I grabbed two myself, but sampled one last night.
Might keep the second for a present all right

My favourite beer High Wire Grapefruit is on special at Tesco - €10 for 4 cans. Haven't seen it in Tesco before but usually €3 a can in my local O'Briens so not a massive discount but it's a lovely summer beer.

There's usually a Lidl XXL week followed by Polish week some time around May / June, keep an eye out for that - the 8 Perlenbacher for €7.30 and Argus Strong for €1.50 are particularly good deals whenever this rolls around ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,473 ✭✭✭✭Hotblack Desiato

They had that 3 or 4 weeks ago so I think that's it for a while. I'm partial to the Tatra beer myself...

    Scrap the cap!

You sure about that? Last one I remember was 4 months ago, a 3 month gap seems very short before they'd do another O_o

Yes it's only 3 or 4 weeks since they had Argus Strong in. I saw it in both Rathmines and Clondalkin.

    Scrap the cap!
